If you like a quieter location, less crowed hotel with great service, this is the place to come.
My family stayed in a suite which holds 4 guests. The room was spacious, and although not full of features, it suited us perfectly.
We stayed half board and food quantity was not lots, like some hotels, but for sure made up for in quality. Excellent food both for breakfast and dinner.
Last but not least, staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay that much more special.
Overall a great stay and will for sure come back.

We booked Kalimera Mara for an overnight before flying out the next morning so didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful property. We could see the pool and it looks great. The staff was amazing and got us a cab to go out at 4 AM. Everything worked great and they even gave us food so that we could eat on our way to the airport, since we missed the breakfast, they were amazing.

It was a fabulous little hotel, large clean safe rooms and with wonderful staff. We used the pool next door with a fabulous pool bar and next to the beach. The bus stops straight outside which takes you into the centre but otherwise there is nothing else around within walking distance. We would jump on the bus into the centre mid evening and a taxi home for e10 and then a couple of drinks in the hotel bar. We had a wonderful week.

Great family run hotel. Cosmos the receptionist was so helpful and informative.
The hotel is situated outside a small tourist town and it is a long pleasant walk(40minutes) to get there or a 3.50€ Bus ride which stops in town or outside the hotel. (Taxi 9€) clean rooms, nice size rooms good air con(€4 extra a day). Good breakfast (was shocked to see a young Russian couple take 5 pastries each!).
Pools are a good size. Pool bar great too we had a great laugh with Marios .
They have sunbeds at the seaside (€2.50 for two beds, umbrella and two free drink)
WiFi good in our room but it was close to reception and unfortunately close to the breakfast which woke us up at 6 am each morning.

Can’t rate this hotel highly enough. The rooms are really spacious, immaculate and comfortable. Towels changed every day. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful. Food is plentiful and delicious and you have a choice between 3 main dishes which are all made fresh for you. The buffet to go with this is great. The front of house staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Valerie, Dora, Kosmas, Pharo, Antonio, Demetrie and Makis are such an asset to the hotel. If you want a chill out holiday then this is for you.

The hotel itself and the staff were great. The main issue we had was the placement of the hotel on the island, especially if you're not full board, as there are very few (well, one) restaurants nearby. Also due to the roads and mountains its really further from Kos town than you would think. Even Kardemena is a 45 min walk, or bus or taxi ride, and it has many restaurants but its a bit run down and tacky compared to Kos town or other areas.
On the plus side, this hotel has excellent pools and staff. If you're full board or have your own car then this hotel might be perfect for you. One more thing: the beach here is rough sand.....go to Kephalos area beaches like Bubble beach, to get really proper beaches. (there are buses that can take you there). And please go see the Asklepion and Kos town Roman villa if you have any interest in history at all. And Nysiros island for the volcano!

From the moment we arrived at Kalimera Mare Hotel, it was like we were one of the family. The staff were excellent and made sure all of our needs were met.
We noticed how immaculate the place looked and couldn't wait to start our holiday.
I don't think I've ever been anywhere where the staff were so welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and really wanted our holiday to be the best.
The breakfast - simply beautiful and fresh, lots of choice ... bar snacks and the bar, fabulous.
Swimming pool was lovely and spotlessly clean.
We WILL definitely be back, so easy to get to from the airport and the perfect place to stay in Kos.

The hotel is situated a bit far from the town but there is a bus several times a day. Buffet breakfast, a lot of fruits to choose from. absolutely fantastic. Rooms where in good condition and really clean. staff spoke many languages. Very friendly and helpful all the time. you pay for the sunbeds but you get a drink in that price. So you actually pay for the drink. did not eat dinners in the hotel so can't say. But it was cheaper to eat in the town. There is a gym as well but the equipment is not in top condition. Probably it's not used that much.
overall it's really nice hotel and i would recommend it to my friends.
