This was a very old olive oil factory converted to a very nice guesthouse! Every time we want to visit Pelio we stay at this place mainly because of the setup and the super friendly 2-member crew that goes above and beyond to keep their guests happy. Spyridoula especially is a gem of a lady that keeps the place immaculate and the guests happy! I foresee many more happy visits there because the place offers everything! Mesmerizing spring waters running right next to the place make for unforgettable sleeping experience! Take a hike up to the mountain and keep your eyes open for seasonal fruit trees! Late June cherries are the best! Too many experiences to mention! Visit and find for yourself!

The place is very good as long as you can find it and do not need to park next to it. There are hand-made/hand-written road signs at certain points through the village but (1) they are easy to miss/overlook and (2) the "roads" they point to look more like a pedestrian-only pavement so anyone not driving a scooter has the tendency to distrust them and take the other, slightly bigger roads first (bad choice, they do not lead anywhere). Then the parking is a matter of luck on a narrow steep hill with slippery steps to the hotel proper. Would be quite fun with lots of luggage which fortunately was not our case. The hotel is nice and efforts were clearly exerted to make it look stylish and with unique atmosphere, but it is not one of the seven wonders of the world as some reviewers would have it. The village is quite out there but very picturesque and definitely worth a trip. TV did not work but since we did not really mind, we did not tell the manager. Would stay again if in the area AND taking a taxi :-)

The hotel is a completely renovated olive oil mill that has been converted to accommodate the needs of the modern traveler. Everything has been tastefully placed and organised with high attention to detail, always in perfect keeping with folklore and local architectural characteristics but also with respect to local customs. Outside, majestic nature in a picturesque village that smells of burning wood, wet leaves and homemade food. Inside, a modern bathroom with a jacuzzi shower, comfy bed, wooden ceilings, beautiful windows overlooking acorn and walnut trees filled with chirping birds in an area surrounded by traditional houses with stone rooftops. In the morning, a really big (albeit not very innocent) breakfast served by welcoming people who are always there to tend to your every need, answer questions and give suggestions. My only complaint relates to clear road and path signage; it is either non-existent or dreadful and can make one feel extremely hopeless and uncomfortable, especially after it gets dark. There is nothing I can think of during that hotel stay I would've liked to be different. The people, the amazing landscapes that filled my camera with photos, the food, the coziness and the complete immersion in nature registered some truly wonderful memories. Thank you 'Palio Elaiotrivio'!

This is an old olive press building, very tastefully restored, converted into a boutique hotel, and filled with antique and period pieces. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned perfectly every morning. A very adequate breakfast was served on tables crafted from fixtures of the original olive press. Access to the hotel is via a small bridge over a babbling brook which was originally used to turn a water wheel that powered the olive press. The manager was very helpful with suggestions for trips in the area. There is parking nearby. There was a fan in the room, but the windows faced west which made the room quite warm in the afternoon. Air conditioning would have helped. However, there is central heat for those staying during colder seasons. One word of caution - the villages of Pelion are built on hillsides and the cobblestone walking paths can be slippery. Bring adequate footwear. A walking stick or cane also helps and can be purchased from any number of shops in the area. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, the price was reasonable, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in experiencing one of the mountain villages of Pelion.
