Hotel Jazz

Great property and location! The lady at the front desk was the best! I would definitely recommend this location. Phone available at front desk to schedule taxi pickup at 4:45am and the taxi was exactly on time. Room had a hot water pot to make coffee, a refrigerator, free WiFi. Bathroom was spacious and very clean!

The woman at the front desk was lovely. The communication between hotel re: check in, and airport transport was terrible. I was VERY stressed out for 24+ hours. I envisioned us standing in the rain unable to get in. Yes I texted, called, emailed. I wouldn't stay at Hotel Jazz again though the room was fine.

Great hotel. There were no staff but everything is laid out. You have to figure out yourself. Breakfast was plentifull and starts at 4am. Self serve. Again no staff Great stay

This is a very good place to spend a "last night" before heading to the airport. The room is large enough for two travelers and their luggage. There are no "amenities", but on the last night, you're not looking for any. The location is very convenient. There are some dining choices in walking distance. You're only a short distance from the car rental companies. There is a taxi service available if you need a ride to the airport. There was no "staff". The room key was waiting for me on the reception counter. Breakfast was available at 4:00am for early departures. Not as many choices as a FossHotel, but very adequate. I'd be very happy to stay here again.

Easy self check in Hotel clean and good instructions on getting transfers

I had no tv and was asked if I wanted to move my room I declined as I had an injiury and did not want to repack and move it all. The telephone did not work at all as we tried numerous times to call a taxi or call the hotel. When we did see staff they were great.

Good for the price with no frills. Comfortable, safe, near shops and the airport. Property is slightly dated

Perfect for a basic overnight layover. I'd stay again. The taxi driver didn't know about the free shuttle part though, so we paid full price for the ride. I did message the hotel to give them our information to arrange the shuttle/taxi before the trip started but the hotel said to just call the taxi. So one small hitch, but a good stay overall.

The Jazz is perfectly serviceable if you’re looking for a reasonable and central stay close to KEF airport. Clean and quiet, with ocean views from a few of the rooms. Walking distance to several restaurants, grocery, and (important!) hot dog stand. Breakfast was just fine. Downsides: window in our room did not fully close (and you know what that means with Icelandic wind!), and few towels. Unstaffed property means no one to call if you need extras or have questions.

It is clean and efficient here but not fancy. Close to the airport so good for early flights. The cleaner and room freshener they used is quite strong.

The good: Close to the airport, pillows and beds were comfortable and lots of restaurants near hotel. The bad: hotel is in poor condition, the shower surround is pulling away from the wall and the pancakes at breakfast had mold on it.

I have stayed on this hotel a few times over the years and previously thought it was pretty poor Since the last time it appears that a good amount of money has been spent on it Maybe it’s a new owner But it has certainly improved it immensely

Had a wonderfully cold refrigerator and comfy beds. Nice breakfast

QuirkyQuiet, somewhat residential neighborhood with a partial view of the ocean. €30+ for the taxi from the airport each way, not the €22 they advertised. Beds are very hard. Room was very small, but nice. The staff were non-existent. Totally do-it-yourself. Check yourself in. Check yourself out. Call your own taxi (with their phone). The only time I saw anyone who appeared to be an employee was when we came into the breakfast room and she practically ran out the room without even saying hello. Breakfast is nothing special at all. Again, do it yourself. Exorbitant for very little.

In general, everything went pretty smoothly. They were very accommodating at letting us check in early, as we were exhausted from our overnight flight. Our safe was broken. And the only microwave was in the large dining room. But it was locked after 10 so couldn’t use the microwave in the evening

Great hotel with a great price. Good breakfast. Easily accessible.
