It is a very nice hotel!

Comfortable stay and great service

It was simple. If you want simple then it's for you. We would have loved a mini fridge, the hotel website said that the rooms had one but didn't actually. Advertising for a hot tub and sauna, but they are actually in the private gym next door and you need to go outside and in a different door to use them. We requested a double bed, and got 2 single beds, which wasn't terrible as we pushed them together but would have been nice to know.

Clean, kind and quiet

Rooms were spacious and clean, overall very relaxing atmosphere. Check in and out was very easy. I really liked their breakfast too. I would definitely recommend this place!

Everything was great about this place. We even got to see the Northern lights. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, well located if you have a car. Brilliant helpful staff. Wonderful introduction for our first night in iceland.

Breakfast is good

It's a nice location, the amenities are also nice. The breakfast menu could use some work but it's workable. Overall, it's not a bad place to stay with nice bar and gym adjacent. Close enough to downtown and to gas stations. If you are going to be taking some road trips. No water fountain within the property. I guess it's normal to get the water from the faucet here in Iceland so I won't take any points away for that. But the first day I didn't know and spent a good half an hour walking around the property at 2:00 a.m ooking for a water fountain or an ice machine. The dining area was closed so I couldn't go over there to see if there was a water fountain on that side and didn't get the answer until the morning when staff showed up and I got to ask them about that part and they told me that I could use the faucets in the bathroom. I did end up trying the water from the faucet and it was actually pretty good, not what I'm used to but good. Also would be nice if there was a microwave and a small fridge in the roof to bring back food from dining out instead of having to either finish the food at the restaurant or throw away things that I am too full to eat. Another thing to get used to I guess, but I'm not complaining too much. Lastly, I sleep hot and unfortunately the bed, the sheets, the pillows did not agree with my body. I did more sweating than I have in a bed in a while. I have a purple mattress at home, got it because of this reason specifically. Just a heads up.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Facilities were decent. Breakfast was ok, would’ve preferred more hot options, however there were quite a few cold options. Gym with sauna was brilliant. There wasn’t a change of bedsheets during our stay. Towels were changed on request. Overall it was a very nice stay

The hotel worked perfectly for what we needed. The lobby was not very big and the dining area closed a little early, which shut down our game nights, but overall it was good. The included breakfast could have been fresher. We did take advantage of the gym access to use the hot tub, which was a nice relaxation. Fair warning, the hotel is an expensive cab ride from town.

The Hotel staff are very welcoming and gave all additional information and advice about trips when asked for.Breakfast was continental and good quality but no hot food.We had a rental car so cannot comment about transport facilities. Overall a very good stay. The gym is an added bonus.

Stayed for a night. Nice stop over. No frills but nice.
