Our 'deluxe family studio' was great. Two very comfortable beds, pullout sofa (which we didn't use except for sitting), included WiFi, large flat screen TV , nicely equipped kitchenette/ table and chairs and small but good bathroom. On site laundry. Easy self-check-in. On a dedicated Flybus shuttle stop so transfer between KEF - BSI - hotel were seamless. Conveniently located within a block of Kringlan, a great little local coffee shop and pharmacy and on Straeto routes (city bus), which got us into the central downtown area within just a few minutes. Nice grocery store (Netto) a block away. And all within a 10 minute walk of my daughter's home. (we stayed here so as not to disrupt her work schedule and because her home is small). Quiet and very clean. Will stay here again. We have no need to be in the midst of downtown tourist sites, as we visit so often so this was perfect. First time visitors may want to be directly downtown and not have to navigate the city buses but we're so familiar with them that this was not an issue for us at all.

The check-in info was sent 2 days prior and worked well when checking in. A neighbour had a wrong code, but once they called the number, it was instantly reactivated.
The room was impeccably clean and all the kitchen items and bedding were neat, organized and clean as well. Linens were so cozy and good (note extras are in Euros). Towels could be changed every other day. The info sign ws helpful and the laundry was convenient although pricey (11000 ISK each wash and dryer) .
Only from an accessibility standpoint, wish there was a handrail in the shower and there was a ramp down or an accessibility room with one level. Also, a couple of tiles were cracked near the entrance/kitchen area but minor.
Other than the that, the staff on-site and online were extremely helpful. We had a problem with one of the rads, and it was fixed by the time we got back with updates throughout the day. As well, extra throught bu giving 2 fans in case any problems occurred again through the first night.
The location is great as you can catch the 14 bus to get to downtown, close to the Hop On/Hop Off stop, and great Bonus grocery store and eateries nearby within 5-10 minutes walk. It was quiet, safe and comfortable.

The kitchen was not clean the kitchen faucet was so wonky and fixed with bunch of screws. No towel hangers in the bathroom. Parking on the street was little annoying.

Great location. Just right for 3 guys on a golfing trip. The only downside was the room was too warm. The heat was of, the windows open and outside temps in the mid teens.
Local staff were helpful and facilitated an early check in.

Just to start off, this room was pure torture for the 3 days I spent within Iceland, the so called ac, was non-existent and when questioned about through the phone, probably a call center the attendant had given false information on how to turn on the so called AC. After multiple tries, the heater had turned on spontaneously making the room suffocating, sweaty and very noisy. After multiple consultations with the call center, a promised visit to the property for a fix, had never been achieved. For us we need an AC to sleep. Next, the property was so cheap that the reed diffuser in the bathroom was EMPTY, no exhaust, no window, leaving any remained smell without ventilation stinking up the whole room. Even the room had two small windows that open about 15-30 degrees leaving pockets of air helping us survive. The place wasn’t even clean when we arrived, there were HAIR on pillows! As a note, after long drives and traveling in Iceland you would want to come back to a place that is at least semi functional and if you are okay with a cheap and hopeless place to stay, this is the place for you! Expedia this is a call to take this off your listings ASAP!

The property was clean and you were entitled to fresh towels every other day. In the shower, water leaked considerably into the room itself. It seemed that the slope in the shower was not angled enough to keep more of the water going to the drain. The elevator broke down and although they fixed it within 24 hours, we were in the 5th floor and the stairs were difficult for older people. Then, my travelling companion got stuck in it and had to ring for emergency for help (which was quick in it's response). Parking for overnight could be a challenge. All in all, few were happy with our stay.

On our arrival, the lift was broken. Fifth floor — no fun. There were a couple of minor issues; the hotel responded right away and fixed everything. The room was clean and spacious, beds comfortable. A few minor modifications would fully open the space potential, making it more comfortable and welcoming.

Perfect space for two as a home base for an extra long weekend in Iceland. 20-25 minute walk to the city centre might not be ideal for some but we enjoyed strolling along the water each day and evening.
