A beautiful couple of days in the most stunning hotel. The owner and his staff could not have made me feel more welcome. I love the decoration of the hotel and rooms as you get a glimpse into its rich history. This is my second visit and it will not be my last.

Without a doubt, this is one haveli we absolutely loved. Fabulous, in almost every aspect. Skip Breakfast There is more exciting food elsewhere, but dinner is a must. The menu is local, simple, and delicious, if you can have your meal outdoor, all the better. The rooms are of old-world grandeur, full of period furniture, reflective mirrors, oil painting portraits, and walls painted with intricate designs in gold. You feel like you're in someone's home, It doesn't have the finest of bedding but makes up for it in every other aspect. If you are looking for ultimate luxury at every level, this place isn't for you, but if you're a creative who appreciates antiques, history, art, fabulous interiors with a few tatty edges, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. It's on the doorstep to the Junagarh Fort, which is well worth a visit.
Bhairon Vilas is today run by the ancestors of Bhairon Sing Ji and it has a true family feel about it. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful and we could have stayed so much longer. Try and stay at least 3 nights if not more, otherwise, you'll feel it's all too much of a rush. For the creative in you, I would thoroughly recommend Bhairon Villas. It is quite literally a 'jewel in the crown'.

Beautiful building but everything needed a clean. No heater. Couldnt anyone and waited for ages to get anything. Had to climb through a window to get to breakfast as it was all blocked off. I wish they cleaned the rooms - curtains in particular but just everything. Also there was no heating so it was cold.

It was very beautiful property . Plenrty of greenery and a very stunning cafe full of beautiful things . Even the property was fillef with beuatiful corners . The staff was really helpful and always easgwr to help you out .
The only complaint i had was the lasck of wi fi in the rooms . As when you enter the rooms the network goes off as its an old.property with thick walls i suppose. In this modern age its a nig inconvenience for people who are always connected online .
Alsonthey should put up some greenedy atvthe emtrance to make it a bit more livelier because once fhey open the door and you step inside its a very different world out there .
I wouos rate it 4 out of 5 , takung one point off bevause of the wi fi situation.

Beautiful historic building, a slightly rundown old palace, with quirky furniture and decor, our room 101 was huge, clean and comfortable, though a few things were rather worn. Shower worked well with plenty of hot water though huge bathroom was shabby and had broken tiles. Bar was like a museum stuffed with antiques, adjoining coffee bar, also with curios, was well run and immaculate. Staff worked hard but could have smiled more!

Amazing step back in time experience. Beds need better mattresses and lots of maintenance needed but it was a beautiful chance to be surrounded by grandeur of days gone by. Unfortunately the coffee shop was not open any regular hours as a place to sit, relax and catch up on emails would have been perfect.
As a vip access hotel I was expecting both rooms to be of a high standard but we had one renovated room and one in quite bad condition.

The staff had no idea of where to fetch basic room amenities like towels, heater, etc. Least bothered about what the guests need. Great property but poor staff. Least concerned about letting the guests know about the restaurant and other facilities like pool, spa, etc.

Excellent place, its as good as a museum in itself. Too many antiques to watch for including the owner Harsh's collection of vintage cars. Great food and good service, opt in for the heritage rooms, they are just fantastic.

Pros -
1.Hotel is in a good location, close to the fort and grounds are well maintained and pleasant to sit in.
2. Plenty of hot water for showers
Cons -
1.Staff were indifferent to rude, and seem to find it difficult to communicate with guests. Reception staff did not provide any information about the hotel and it seemed to be a struggle for them to speak to guests.
2. Room was large and furnished with interesting items but bed linen was grubby looking and had holes in sheet. No wifi or television available for duration of our stay.
3. Restaurant food was very poor quality, no menu, no choice or idea of price. ( it was not expensive) Guests were hurried through evening meal and one young waiter seemed to be left to do most of the work.
In general the hotel has great potential but is let down by indifferent staff and poor services.
I would not return to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to others.

1. Hotel infrastructure & location has good potential to attract visitors. However, it is poorly managed & maintained.
2. In general the few staff managing the hotel exhibit negative or indifferent attitude to guests.
3. We managed without hot water in one of the suites hired & without food for dinner on arrival as cook was not available. Hotel staff refuses to help out arranging food from elsewhere.
4. Television, Wi-fi, intercom telephone are partially functional or non functional in many rooms.
5. Mattresses, blanket, pillows provided are not cleaned.
6. Bed in Maharaja suites & other ones are creaking & risk breaking down any time.
7. Charges are stiff considering type & kind of amenities provided.
8. Lighting in general is inadequate in & outside the premises.
