Greenhost is one of those hotels I keep coming back to, and for good reason. I've stayed here a couple of times now, and it remains one of my top choices whenever I'm in Yogyakarta. The location is a big plus, just a short walk from Prawirotaman Street, which has a great selection of cafes, restaurants, and bars perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms are not the largest, but they are well-maintained, clean, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nothing feels dated or out of place. What really sets Greenhost apart, though, is the staff – genuinely friendly, warm, and always helpful. It's the kind of service that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

I'm prone to dust allergies. But staying here, I woke up without any redness or sneezing. The room, bed, and air conditioning made me comfortable and I slept soundly. The location is also close to my children's boarding house and Malioboro. Prawiro has plenty of entertainment and cafes at night. I ended up extending my stay for another night.

The place is comfortable, and I like to hang out for a while in the hotel. I can leave my room and sit in a cafe and look out at the quiet streets of Yogyakarta while waiting for the afternoon. The room is clean, and most importantly, the lights in the room and bathroom are not dim. Staying here feels like coming home.
