In terms of location, this hotel is very strategic, because it is close to Malioboro. You can walk or take a pedicab. The hotel is comfortable and the air conditioning is very cold. However, in the room I stayed in, the bathroom was a bit clogged, so the water took a long time to drain and stagnated. However, the food is delicious and varied, but the cakes are a bit hard. The service is friendly. Recommended for the affordable price and satisfactory facilities and service.

Vacationing with family from Bengkulu to Jogja, staying here, booked 3 superior rooms and got a free upgrade to 3 privilege rooms that have smart rooms and are very comfortable. The room size is the same as the deluxe, but it has a smart room with Google Assistant, the room is clean, fragrant, the bathroom is also clean, the AC is cold, the TV is really good, there are lots of channels, you can also use YouTube. There is Wi-Fi but maybe many people are using it so it's a bit slow. We booked a room with breakfast, thank God all the food is suitable for the palate, delicious and quite varied for children to seniors. It's really worth staying here for that price... My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Grand Malioboro. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean. Although it looks like an older hotel, it was very comfortable.
The hotel is also close to Malioboro Street, and there are many culinary options nearby. Highly recommended.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The building and rooms were clean and well-maintained. Access to the area and the city center was very easy. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in room 302 wasn't working and it was very hot, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Please have the air conditioning checked regularly. Overall, the Grand Malioboro Hotel is quite good. Hopefully, my next visit will be even better. Thank you.

It was my first time ever staying at this hotel, but the overall experience was great. I would honestly consider staying here again if I ever go to Yogyakarta in the future. The meal was good, there were a lot of varieties, the taste is ok/meh (but we enjoyed them, really), the staff were very nice. I think they clean the bathroom with vinegar, I'm not used to the smell but it's clean and that's what's more important.

I was very lucky to get a discount on Traveloka to stay here, a 3-star hotel but the room was spacious, the only downside was that there was no refrigerator in the room I chose, the breakfast was varied, there were pastries, there was a buffet and there were stalls as well, such as chicken porridge, sweet porridge and eggs. Even if you want to leave the hotel to find food, there are many sellers, Malioboro is close and you can walk.
