Hotel Setya Syariah

Got a cheap hotel in Madiun to attend a running event. It happened to be close to the town square and a food source. The atmosphere was peaceful, even though I got a corner room. The hotel may have been around for a while, so it feels a bit old-fashioned, but overall, it was comfortable to sleep in. The food was delicious. The receptionist was friendly, 10 stars for this... I'm hooked, I want to come back here again.

The staff is friendly and the place is nice. However, the AC isn't cold at all.

Just a suggestion to pay attention to the little, basic details, which can be the key to guest satisfaction. Budget-friendly prices don't mean standards are exceeded. Hopefully, things will get better 🙏

Cramped parking, steep hillside. There's nothing pleasant about this hotel. Hopefully, they'll improve soon.

The hotel was dirty, there were cockroaches in the bathroom, the AC wasn't cold at all, the mattress was dirty and covered in stains and dust, the curtains were falling down, the TV wouldn't work, and every corner of the hotel and the room was dusty. My feet were even black from never being swept or mopped. It was really uncomfortable, and I needed to clean up.

March 15, 2026, Room 202 & 203. With a room rate of 200,000 Rupiah, don't expect much. The important thing is that you can rest and shower. Thank God, we got breakfast, even though the menu was basic.

I apologize in advance for having to give a bad review. Because it's true, this facility is dirty and many things are broken. The first time I entered the room, I was immediately presented with a dirty carpet full of burn marks and hair dust, a table full of cigarette burns, one of the bedside lamps was broken, the bedsheets were stained, the ceiling was cracked in several places in the main room and bathroom, the toilet bidet didn't have a strong water flow, making it difficult to wash myself 😭😭, the TV had no channels at all until I complained and was answered, "Yes, the entire 3rd floor has no broadcast, because the routers are connected to one. Later, I intend to fix it and renovate it." The only TV that broadcasts is on the second floor. Why wasn't this informed when we checked in? 🥲. So disappointed. It's a shame the location is strategic, but the condition is like that. There's no fine policy. If we hadn't reported it, we'd have been charged for the damage. Breakfast is available, but we didn't eat it because the dining area is in the parking lot. Thank you, thank you.

The staff is friendly, but the cleanliness of the room, sheets, and towels is very lacking, there are lots of messy things in the hallway and the carpet in the room is dirty, there is also less variety of food for side dishes, but for a top location close to the town square

Room 101, the bathroom is leaking, there's water seeping from above... disgusting, even using a towel to cover your head and body while hanging out in the toilet. The cleanliness and leaks need to be fixed immediately.

take a superior room, the twin bed is big, not a small single one, so it's quite good... the price includes breakfast, and it seems like the menu is always pecel rice, the only difference is the side vegetables... for the location, wow, everywhere you go is just walking, because I have a kid who really loves trains, this hotel is very close to Bogowonto Cullinary, only 6 minutes walk, 220 meters away... it's really cool, thank you to the hotel staff too, next time I go to Madiun, God willing, I'll stay here again, change my booking to a room on the upper floor, so I can see the city of Madiun😁🥰
