ibis Makassar City Center

I've stayed here every time I've been to Makassar for the past few years. It's very close to Losari Beach, quite strategically located, and affordably priced. The hotel is also comfortable. Great!

The hotel is close to Losari, the tourist area, and Makassar's souvenir and culinary center. However, I was a bit disappointed that the bathroom didn't have hot water. It only came out in the morning, and even then, it took a long time. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the food was still good.

I stay here often. It's affordable and comfortable. It's close to everything.

My special appreciation goes to the Front Office team, especially Mahathir and Fathir, who demonstrate exceptional professionalism. Both have excellent hospitality skills, always offering a warm, friendly greeting, being responsive, and readily assisting guests with every need. Their service truly reflects the standards of excellence and is one of the added values of this hotel. I also thoroughly enjoyed my culinary experience. The breakfast menu, especially the scrambled eggs served with vegetables, was delicious, fresh, and consistent every time I stayed. As a constructive feedback, I hope the room cleanliness can be further improved, particularly with regard to several details that require more attention to optimize the quality of the rooms. With improvements in these areas, I am confident that the stay will be even more perfect. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service, comfort, and quality. Thank you to the entire team for their dedication and hard work in providing a memorable stay. Overall, everything is perfect, and I look forward to staying here again on my next business trip. If possible, please don't use torn towels.

I stayed here for 4 hours. Strategic location, great cleanliness, friendly service. Unfortunately, there was no doormat in the room. They said they were out of stock.

Near the starting point of the Makassar Half Marathon.

Not bad... but the downside is there's no soap in the bathroom... I want to call the operator but the room phone number can't be used... I got the 10th floor...

The door lock was broken, but it was fixed, even though I had to remind them twice. Some of the lights were out, but they weren't fixed until we got home. Luckily, we were pretty tired, so it didn't affect our comfort much.

It's actually comfortable, and the housekeeping is also spotless. Although it's an older hotel, it's still well-maintained. It's just that the bathroom design is a bit of a mixed bag, though.

The service is very good, the location is very close to Losari Beach, it is nice for a morning walk to CPI, the price is affordable.

The water tap was off, leaking non-stop. The AC was blazing hot even though it was set to the coldest setting. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes. I could have gotten a smoking room, but it wasn't. The mattress was rickety. The floor tiles looked like they were about to burst and expand upwards.
