The Korowai

All staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. The location is a bit inside, can only be accessed by pedestrians and the track is a bit up and down and a bit dark at night (but the staff can help pick you up on the way to the hotel). However, all the tiredness of the journey will immediately disappear when you arrive at your room, when you are presented with an extraordinary view, the room is super comfortable and spacious. The food choices are also many and delicious.

After a five-day stay, I cannot recommend the accommodation at this price. We paid almost 1500 $ and I immediately got sick after the 1st dinner. I was infected with typhoid fever and vomited and had diarrhea all night long. In addition, I couldn't leave the accommodation because you have to climb a 200 meter long and steep path with very high stairs. The bathroom was full of limescale and mold behind the sink. It 's not worth the money. I needed medical attention and paid $ 500. The view is very nice but there are many aggressive monkeys on the balcony.

Double booking with no good result.

This place is delicious, very unique, on a cliff. Really blends with nature. clean aesthetic iffy rooms. Go down directly to the beach via the path that has been provided. Feels like a nice private beach.

The location is quite far from the main road and lots of steps before you arrive at the hotel. My suggestion is don’t bring big luggage there since the path is quite challenging and please arrive before dawn because no light available on the road and it’s quite dangerous. Overall we enjoyed staying there and to blend with nature is something that we are looking for

Very good view, can see the sea from the balcony. The facilities are also great even though the villa is pretty well located. Sign in. The bathroom is clean, the air conditioner is cold, the water is good and there is a minibar in the room so you don't need to go out to buy soda-rich drinks, mineral water, and others. There is a restaurant below too so if you go out you can buy at the restaurant. The drawback is the road to the korowai? When I first booked, I didn't know that the road to the place seemed to have to walk quite a distance by going up and down the stairs, where at that time I carried a fairly large suitcase. So it was snapping when I got to the place because I was really tired. But really worth the price and the view?

Hidden gems! already in my bucket list since early of this year. finally, I made it. really beautiful tree house with plunge pool. totally great. however, there's no warning regarding monkeys attack. so, Im not prepare to rescues my lotion because I am still sunbath. around 4 PM till almost 6 PM the monkeys still around, unfortunatelly cant continue sunbath or take more pics. also, the sink under the shower was stucked! the women at receiptionist, could be more nicer to guest! even local guest! Ive made complaints and theres no appologize. upset! so sorry, I love the place, really beautiful. but, still need more upgrading human resource, also the foods! below average. tips for guest: come before sun goes down. do not bring suitcase, just bagpack because this place not easy access. for brave person only, because living in nature sometimes big lizard (biawak) comes, crabs comes from the walls inside the bathroom, insects : big flies, bees, mosquitos, and of course monkeys. also if you want to find foods, walk to the bingin beach when low tide its more easier than climb to the main street.

A really okay place for a vacation. We can see the sunset and direct views of the sea. Even though the parking lot is quite far away, it pays off after arriving at this place, I really like it, I will miss coming here again. Really recommended. take a room that honeymoon sweet huh? guaranteed you feel at home.
