The room was a bit dated and the shower head was awkwardly situated on top of the tap which made me have to bend. However, breakfast was plentiful of local and international choice, and the swimming pool was nice.

Our check in time by was delayed by an hour because of a faulty aircon. Offered us only a twin bed arrangement for my husband and I instead of another room with a queen bed. In such scenarios, i thought a free room upgrade would be suitable instead of pushing back our check in time. The ameneties like the swimming pool and gym were very run down. Super old and rusty machines and swimming pool was not well maintained too. Breakfast selection could be better too. Every morning had the same food stations. No changes to the lineup.

The room was clean, the lake view from my room was pretty nice, the restaurants' staff were very friendly and attentive, the overall atmosphere was good and the hotel was not overly crowded. Great that there is an Eska spa in the hotel as well. However, there was this female frontdesk staff who was a little rude - on one of the days, I went down to the frontdesk to ask her about what the complimentary coupon for the lobby bar entails. The next morning I called the reception to check if the mini bar was complimentary, apparantly that same female staff was on duty, and she must have heard it wrongly the first day and thought I was asking about the mini bar again, so she told me in a very sassy tone that she "ALREADY TOLD ME" that it was complimentary. I went on to explain that on the previous day, I was actually asking about the lobby bar, not the mini bar in the room, but she continued to argue with me. I felt that even if there wasn't a miscomm, she should have been more patient if a guest were to ask the same question. However, in my case it was two different qns. She should keep that attitude and tonality in check, and probably be retrained. If the frontdesk struggles to answer questions from guests, I suggest that the hotel should put small notes in the room to indicate such things, or have the frontdesk staff inform us upon arrival. Details like pool operating hours and mini-bar were left out etc.

Beautiful hotel, spacious, well renovated, many lighting in the room for different areas, hotel provided ample drinking water and complimentary minibar drinks, friendly front desk. Breakfast was a bit confusing for new guests, long and confusing waiting for services like juice and egg station, they lack clear signage about how to order juice and egg from staff who lack English conversation skills. Location was a bit far from many popular areas. It stated that there was a medical center within the hotel but it was closed when my family was sick and needed to access medical help. The room was locked and the front desk said it would be closed for the whole day. We did not use the service but the hotel offers free shuttle to and from the ferry, that is helpful.

1. I mailed them in your app twice. They did not reply. It was indeed stressful for me! 2. They should refine their write up and say that they will pick you up from the Mega Mall which is just beside the Batam Center Ferry. 3. When they sent me back to the ferry terminal for my return trip home, they made a detour to another mall. This caused me to be very late for my ferry and I almost missed it! This stop was not informed to me before hand. Else I would have factored it into my time. 4. This hotel is not near any major mall. Overall, this has to do with their culture.

I love the tranquil environment. Peace and quiet. Beautiful scenery of lake just looking out of my room window. The restaurants are excelent both in service and quality of food. The br3akfast was excellent. First time I experienced Teppanyaki Steak cooked in front of me for breakfast in hotel. Highly recommended. Will come again.

Book for a 2 Queen bed for 3 adults. According to hotel, they do not hv 2 Queen bed size options. Two adults had to squeeze onto one twin or superior single bed. Toiletries only cater for two, need to request.
