Clayton Hotel Charlemont

We were very impressed with the hotel and the staff. We loved our daily breakfast and Carmella was such a warm and helpful staff member in the buffet area. The bed was superb as was the entire staff we had contact with. We enjoyed our walk to St. Stephen's Green each morning. We will definitely be staying there again!

This hotel has many amenities that others do not. Air conditioning, elevators, online check in, security features...these are not available at all Dublin hotels. Additionally there was a small fridge in our room, top quality bathroom updates, glassware, coffee maker and kettle, coffee, tea, bottled water and a fully functioning restaurant bar and lounge. Shower water pressure was excellent but the mattress, for the quality of the hotel overall, was marginal for me. Linens were excellent. There was lots of room for hanging clothes but no drawers at all. Housekeeping staff were excellent to interact with. From the hotel doors we were within a brisk walk from everything we cared to do. Taxis are plentiful in the area. Public transit passes for a week in dublin are very reasonable but it is a waljable city. Our second room had a/c trouble all week and in our room we had trouble getting tv channels though we were finally able to cast tontv and wifi was generally great.

It is a good hotel however it is not located near the popular attractions, dinning and entertainment spots.

The property was in a quiet location. Walkable into town. Lots of bars to visit en route! It was clean, quiet and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful. Thank you.

Excellent. And for once, a hotel with aircon in bedrooms that actually works!!

We were 2 mature Rugby supporters from Newport staying in Dublin for the British and Irish Lions versus Argentina rugby match. We were looking for a hotel near the centre and this fitted the bill perfectly. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and perfectly adequate for 3 nights stay. Great breakfast very generous with a wide choice of savoury and sweet products and you could have as much as you wanted. Lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance and it was easy to get to the city centre with the tram station was a few minutes away.

Grace the receptionist was excellent, sorted car parking and extra requirements. Staff like this are what make the Clayton brand .

Close to green line LUAS Quiet

Enjoyed hotel stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms and fantastic breakfast.

Convenient location. Good room size

Friendly staff reception and restaurant. Hotel is about a 15 - 20min. walk away from city center. Also you Wan catch a tram nearby. Definitely recommended if you want to explore Dublin for a few days.
