Lovely location in a quieter neighborhood which we preferred. Very convenient to seeing the soccer match nearby. Went to the bar late night and the service could have been more polished but otherwise the staff is very attentive and friendly. We love a boutique hotel over the chains or a larger hotel.

The hotel was a nice place but a bit odd in its design. Its part old castle like building and part new addition. We felt they didn't do a fantastic job and mending those two identities together. We had booked a two twin bed room and they put me and my son in a one king bed. We asked to have it fixed and they kept telling us they would resolve the issue, but they didn't. They ended up brining us a cot, which was fine but not what we booked. They then offered to buy breakfast for us, but we found out it was free anyway. Not the best impression overall.

Nice property, a little too away from the city center and my room was on the first floor over looking at a messy alley further made worse by a noisy bar. Excellent breakfast and the service was good.

Nice stay! Our room was upgraded, but still compact. The bathroom was fine - no hair dryer, just basics, good pressure from shower though water got everywhere. Bed was comfy but the down blanket was very hot and there were no other options. The room was always cold - much colder than actually outside - someone kept setting it to 19. Maybe to be comfortable under the blanket? Room was orderly but carpet wasn't swept when room was cleaned (odd since the weather tracks all sorts of things on your clothes and shoes). Breakfast was just okay for us - a menu to order from and a very nice pastry cart on each table, but the food was just average. Otherwise, few amenities to the building.

Had a wonderful but brief stay. The hotel is beautiful - like a Victorian club but with all the modern amenities. The staff are responsive and welcoming. Our room was luxurious (small but to be expected for Europe) with all the amenities, including milk in the bar fridge for us tea drinkers. Had a tasty complimentary welcome cocktail on the terrace when we first arrived. We didn't have time for breakfast but got a takeaway box of scones (piping hot and delicious) and pain au chocolate - also yummy. Hotel is located close to Embassy Row. Great, safe neighbourhood for walking and only 25 minutes from the city center. Would highly recommend, particularly if you want something luxurious and not like the cookie-cutter chain hotels.
