Was disappointed about how there was no original art in this castle considering its history. All the canvas reproductions have it a rather fake appearance - one would get in Disneyland …… Time to commission - at least- some contemporary artists to bring a sense of authenticity & while also patronizing young Irish artists…

We loved everything about this Castle Resort! We felt like Royalty staying in this historic castle…. The grounds were immaculately maintained, as were the guest rooms and all interior areas. Dinner was fantastic as was breakfast. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here!

Amazing place to stay and amazing staff. Especially loved our furry greeting from Fionne, the resident wolf hound. The setting is peaceful and a great re-set. Would highly recommend, don’t hesitate in booking!

The hotel was very clean, and we really liked the way it was decorated. Overall, the service was excellent, and the location made it easy for us to access all of our planned activities in Dublin, including the Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, and plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms are not equipped with refrigerators or microwaves, which was a bit inconvenient since we would have liked to store leftovers but couldn’t. Aside from that minor inconvenience, our overall experience was great.
