Moxy Dublin Docklands

I’ve stayed here a few times and generally it’s been good. Unfortunately not this time, systems were down so things were a bit chaotic at the desk. Was allocated a room, went up, opened the door only to discover 2 rucksacks on the bed, thankfully no one was in. Left the room immediately and went back down to reception to let them know, they apologised and allocated another room. Tried again, everything appeared normal. Late evening had shoes off, walking into en-suite only to realise very quickly the carpet was wet and squishy under foot. Not pleasant! There was a leak, not sure if it was the toilet or wash basin, because of the time I made the discovery, left it that night and let reception know when checking out. In all honesty not sure I’d stay again, what with checkin, room allocation mix up and the fact I was walking though a wet carpet on numerous occasions going in and out of the en-suite and exiting/entering the room and not 100% sure what the liquid was. Attached a couple of pics for reference, however the don’t show the full extent of the wet patch. There was also a challenge with the free parking, best advice I can offer is if you bring a car you better book first.

Cool spot!! Staff are lovely! Rooms are basic but absolutely perfect for a night away and immaculate, place is pristine! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back, walking distance from the centre and reasonably priced!

Good location near to city center, decent amenities, average choice of food, beds not very comfortable. But overall 4/5.

Family visit to the East Wall, Dublin. The hotel was centrally located with good transportation options. The security was very good and I felt safe. The hotel was extremely clean and the room was wonderful. Breakfast had many options and it too, was nicely appointed, tidy and plentiful. Wonderful stay!!

There are only 20 parking spaces available to the hotel. For a 15 story hotel, this is crazy! Just saying they're available to pre book is not good enough. I booked 3 or 4 stays at the time of this booking. I don't want to have to remember which hotels I need to book things which are standard in other hotels. I was able to book the 2nd night, but was charged €20! I won't be staying at this Moxy hotel again, and I don't imagine recommending it either.

Hotel rooms are modern and clean. Friendly staff Only negative is breakfast area is small and not as much variety as other Moxy hotels I have stayed in.

Clean room, staff was kind

Clean rooms, good amenities, adequate breakfast, compact gym but enough equipment for a workout - I would recommend.

The room was spotless. On arrival we were offered a free drink.

Very nice room! Not super close to anything “touristy” but also not a terrible walk or Uber if the weather is nice.

Very cool, nice bar, need to make sure to book parking as the area around the property isn’t great and the dining options in walking distance are limited but get location for getting to the ferry

Good gym facilities

Staff was friendly and helpful. Checking in was easy. Our room was clean, decor was nice and perfect size for two friends traveling with the twin beds.

No available parking unless you prebook ,bar closes at 11pm on a Saturday night residents should be served after hours.

The hotel was lovely and heard that it was newly built. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, they accommodated our needs very well especially when we had our small child with us. The room was spacious and was of a contemporary design and the tv was updated to the latest versions to allow streaming from my phone which enabled screen sharing easily. However, in saying that, I was very disappointed with the cleaning room service. Whenever we returned from a day out, the dirty cups were still left in the room, a bag of rubbish was still in the corner, there were hairs in the bathroom floor, and towels were not changed. The only thing they did do was tidy the bed and changed the bathroom bin. Ive stayed in many hotels around the world and have never encountered a room to be so inadequately "cleaned". This was their only downfall though as everything else was lovely, maybe a gentle reminder to the cleaning staff of what is to be expected.

Gorgeous hotel! Just make sure you know to call ahead and book parking!

A birthday treat for wife and Juan provided balloons and a welcome card which was a nice touch. Friendly attentive staff and nice industrial style decor. Powerful shower and comfy bed.
