The only thing I don’t like was that in front of the hotel always was a guy with a big gun because they have some government funding and that was very impressive

Hotel offers so much but gets let down by small things. Location is brilliant…. Staff are ok but lacking common sense. Roof top bar is ‘ok’ view is nothing special. Room was ok - opted for a suite but in reality it’s not really anything more than an extra corridor - certainly not a space that could be used Breakfast was really good Also, hotel was noisey with staff trolleys etc, different things in room were broken / Not working. Location makes up for a lot, the area is brilliant - but hotel (is a little bit of a let down)

A beautiful boutique, hotel tucked away from the busyness of Rome, but accessible to all dining, shopping and more.

I am in Rome all the time. I usually stay at Bulgari or St Regis. This time I was traveling with the extended family and decided to be closer to the tourist attractions. I booked few rooms. Certainly this is not a five star hotel. I’d give it a solid four star boutique hotel. Clean, decent location. Unable to get to the hotel due to the construction across the street. I had to walk with a suitcases for a block. Rooms were very dark and cold like grotto, quite disturbing. Most disappointing was the food. I am yet to find a hotel in Italy with terrible service and the food. I found DOM. I wasn’t able to feed my 82 year old mother-in-law and my teenage son in the hotel. Restaurant had 10 people capacity and waiter managed to be missing all the time. There was absolutely no breakfast choices. I couldn’t believe s they had to offer was cereal and yogurt. Eggs came cold with the repugnant toast combined with the waiters attitude and the bill for $200. I am more than willing to spend double if I get the proper food, service. Very dissatisfied. Will never return and for the price tag and the quality I’d say you could do better as well. Average at best.
