Hotel D120

Plan and simple the room was nice and clean. AC absolutely does not work though. I read all the reviews and the comments back from the hotel are snarky and make it look like customer error but in general it doesnt work. Cant open the windows or mosquitos will come in because there are no screens. There is nothing worth eating in the area. Best option is Mcdonalds. The biggest issue me and my partner had was when we asked for recommendations on where to eat, the receptionist gave us a scrap paper with some options. When i flipped it over later it was THE LEFT HALF OF SOMEONES PASSPORT. ALL INFORMATION WAS SHOWN, minus the right side of the photo copy. We went and asked the receptionist after discovering this if she photo copies all passports and she quickly said yes and hid some paperwork on the desk once we asked if she shredded them after or filed them. She said she filed them. The next day we talked to another receptionist and he pretended to not understand what we were saying and said they dont take pictures of passports. THIS IS A HUGE CONFIDENTIALITY ISSUE. Had we been someone else we could have stolen this persons identity. This hotel either does not have standard protocol for sensitive info or has a lack of care. I work with these forms for a living and never once have I given a photocopy of a passport to a random person. This is a security violation for any customer who goes to this hotel.

Mosquitoes everywhere, better if fumigated

The property was not as expected from listing but was reasonably good. the room was spacious and clean but do not expect a spa tub with the more economical rooms as the room was fairly standard but adequate with a stand-up shower. Our group had two rooms that were essentially the same but one of them did not have an electric kettle and was missing a remote for the tv. The reception area was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful, and the remote was replaced immediately upon request. Ice and cups were provided at the bar upon our request. there was climate control, but it was set for the building and was not adjustable per the preferences of the guest. There may have been other options or amenities on offer as there was a bar area with food items laid out but nothing was offered or explained at the front desk. Wifi is listed as an amenity but no wifi information was provided with the room key or documented in the room. The area around the hotel did not appear to be walkable or have dining or activity options but this was ok for our purposes as there were gas stations and our primary need was to be convenient to Malpensa airport which was less than 20 minutes away.

Big room, good breakfast just outskirts of Milan. It took us just over an hour to reach lake Como. Convenient place to stay if you have a car with free parking

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL ! READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS ! Multiple people are saying the exact same thing about the AC. The air condition temperature for the rooms is set by the property. They are set to 26.6 degrees C, 80 degrees F for summer. They cannot be changed by the guest in the room. The front desk will look you in the eye and tell you that they will turn it cooler, then when the temperature doesn’t change they make up all kinds of excuses why. VERY DISHONEST ! We paid extra for a room with a private sauna and whirlpool but could not use either because of the HOT ROOM. The property was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was good.

Nice place near airport

Great hot tub in the room, definitely get the suite. Nice breakfast. Quick check in. Lots of parking onsite. Walkable to two restaurants nearby

The breakfast was Amazing! . Staff was very lovely, speaking English just perfect to communicate. From the airport to the hotel it’s only 15min driving but the taxi cost ( 45-70 €) for one way soooo expansive I was shocked. I had to pay 25 pounds for an earlier check-In which was okay and understandable. Unfortunately my worry during my staying was the heating problem and never works during my entire staying. My room was cold knowing the temperature dropped so it’s was terrible and I was in ground floor. Apparently the heating system works in a specific time during the day (6-10am) and (8-10pm).

Check in was fine girl very helpful, room was fine, nice large space, breakfast was great. Missed not having many English programs on tv

Triple room, was given a sofa bed was not advertised as so Dust allergies, came out in hives and sneezing Single bed mattresses were uncomfortable and hard Otherwise staff friendly and approachable Well maintained Incident- where taxi was booked by hotel staff for us and we were made to pay 70 euros without being informed and this ruint the trip for us (unexpected extra cost)

Service was excellent. Stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was excellent and abundant. Restaurant next door was also excellent. Was able to walk to shopping, less than a mile. Taxi to train. Train to Milan was about an hour ride so this location is outside the metropolitan Milan area, but close to Malpensa.

Uncomfortable pillows and bed.

Property is not bad is for the price.

Quite expensive, poor quality, no iron and iron board in the room, wallpaper torn off the wall. I do not recommend.
