Hotel Marconi

Lovely hotel, very nice staff, easy check in , great parking and good restaurant near by. Breakfast was a plus!!

1. It is a three star, not a four star hotel. 2. At breakfast I was charged an extra three euros just to have scrambled eggs. Ridiculous. That's a foolish decision on their part. So they got their few extra euros and lost a customer.

Hotel situated on a busy road. It was generally very clean and the bed very comfy. The swimming pool however was too dirty to swim in which was quite disspapointing as I finally had an afternoon off work. There is a field at the back of the hotel and the wind had blown mud in to the pool and all over the surrounding area. There were also too many dead bugs floating on top of the water. When I asked the man on reception when the pool was last cleaned he said 2 days ago. He then immediately sent a member of staff to clean the pool (he swept it for ages with a brush and expected me to get in it without the use of any chemicals. (i'm not sure what was in that field so decided I would not risk it!) For a 4 star rated hotel I would expect this to be cleaned and the water tested every day! Breakfast was OK with a good selection of croissants, meats, cheeses, breads, cakes etc and the staff on duty in the morning were much more friendly. No restaurant and not really anything in walking distance either.

Very far out of Bologna , no public transport availabe only by taxi or car ,Taxi cost €21 from Central Bologna to the hotel .It was a very hot day in Bologna 27 degrees we wanted to swim and to tan but the swimmpool was closed under construction only opens in June /July i was very disappointed . Did not stay at the hotel cancelled the booking the hotel charged for one night.

I was really pleased with my overall experience L. Nice hotel at resanable prices. Breakfast was also nice with crosaints and coffee and fruits

only stay one day, clean hotel, we don't use too much amenities so can't talk about it, the location is good for Fiera if you have a car, fair service quality.

Its 1 night low class in everything

The hotel is situatef in a good spot easy accessible great fot us it was close to my meeting point I would stay there again

Camere pulite personale molto gentile ma due aspetti molto negativi Assenza di un ristorante e poi assolutamente isolata se non si va in cmacchina si è completamente isolati
