The room was perfectly sized for one person and the front desk staff were amazing and super helpful! One in particular (Peter) was always very kind and would give me recommendations on where I could find great food for dinner. He always took the time to have a conversation with me whenever I saw him. The air conditioning and cleanliness of the room were also amazing! It was very refreshing to come back to such a cool room after being outside all day in the extreme heat.

Hotel Romano was a pleasant surprise, in the heart of Rome. Walking distance to everything. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was small but well appointed. Bed was comfy, water pressure was excellent and the welcome bottle of prosecco was a nice touch. The caffe next door became my main coffee/ spritz watering hole and the folks there were fantastic. I'd definitely stay at Hotel Romano if I found myself in Rome again.

We enjoyed the convenience of the location to places that we visited. There were multiple restaurants within easy walking distance. It would have been nice to have more English-speaking channels on the TV or the ability to cast my phone to the TV to watch movies. The hotel is not good for mobility challenges. While there is an elevator, it does not open on the floor, but the patron must use steps to reach the floor. While I have issues, I was able to use the steps. Anyone requiring a walker or wheelchair would not be able to reach their room. The staff was wonderful and recommended restaurants, arranged transportation, and helped with directions. We would stay again.

It was a great location with great staff- only reason it’s not 5 stars is the room was loud, with both outside and inside noise. Could hear everything in the hallways and stairwell and everything outside, but as long as you have earplugs it should be a great stay.

Although rooms are a little small you Cannot beat the Roman charm of this adorable true Roma experience. The owners and family were not to be believed and very helpful for places to go and places to eat. The hotel is in a great location near the Coliseum and walking distance to the Metro. The staff is very friendly with the lady at the front desk showing me on a map all the landmarks I should go to. She also lent me an electrical outlet adapter. The room was very nice with good air conditioning and hot water.

Our stay at Hotel Romano was meraviglioso (wonderful)! The room was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a short relaxing stay while in Rome. I will note that the cobblestones on the road in front of the main door and the stairs might be slightly inconvenient for those with large or heavy luggage, but it was worth it. Mariella was an absolute gem and upgraded our stay from nice to fantastico! Her recommendations were spot on, and she was always so helpful and generous. We will be back, if not for Rome, to visit our new friend!
