Hotel Villa Rosa

Wonderful! Everything about Hotel Villa Rosa was perfect. Friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and comfy. We were provided with a yummy breakfast every day to start our day.

Great location for enjoying the town. Very comfortable room. Easy and safe parking. Amazing breakfast. You will love the staff.

What a wonderful hotel. The owners were lovely , so friendly and helpful. The room overlooking the lake had a balcony we could sit on and watch the water and boats. Breakfast was an amazing selection and so fresh. We took advantage of the tips from the owner as to where to adventure and the 1 euro bus to the old town was great although you could walk and we did often. Amazing food locally - fresh and attentive. Overall couldn’t fault. It was positioned just off the road into Sirmione old town but that didn’t take away at all from this excellent place. Wonderful time and memories. Thanks to Expedia and Villa Rosa for a wonderful week.

We love staying here! Lovely room—relaxing, and clean with nice updates. Very attentive and friendly staff. Enjoyed the view from our balcony and having refreshments on the patio. Close to many restaurants and the beach. Breakfast was great, too. Grazie Mille!

Our stay at Villa Rosa was excellent! The owners are so warm and friendly and do everything they can to ensure your stay is just right. The hotel is super clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was very fresh and with lots of variety. It’s a 20 minute walk to the old town, or a short bus ride. There are many restaurants close by, and a bike shop next door if you wish to explore the surrounding areas by bike. We will certainly stay at Villa Rosa again if we return to Sirmione.

This is great little hotel just outside the historical centre of Sirmione. Seemed to be family run and as such all the staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. Room was of a good size, very clean and had everything required (except tea/coffee facilities which you don’t seem to get in Italian hotels). A pleasant 2km walk into centre. Several good restaurants close by including the Revelino.

We stayed at Villa Rosa, lake view room with balcony, and had a fantastic week. Our room was spotlessly clean with a nice view, owners Patricia and Diego were welcoming and extremely helpful, with advice on local amenities, and buses, discount vouchers for ferries etc, along with local maps and leaflets. Shower was powerful, always hot water, lots of white towels and toiletries. Comfortable bed and lots of storage space, with a security safe. As the nights were hot, the air conditioning was fantastic. The rate included breakfast, which was the best we have had, with cereals, fruit, nuts, yoghurt, pastries and cakes, and cold meat, cheese, eggs, bacon, toast and tea/coffee. Laura and Andrea looked after us extremely well at breakfast, always cheery and helpful, it was a lovely start to each day. The location is ideal, on shuttle bus route to old town and castle (1 euro), but also very short walk to Columbare which had supermarket, cafes, and the bus stop to Verona. 20 minute walk to old Sirmione. Right across from the hotel (by the ice cream parlour) are a couple of lovely lakeside restaurants, and a grassy beach area with sunbed hire and watersports/swimming. Beware there are mosquitoes in the evening but that's inevitable by a lake in summer. On the walk to the old town there are shops, grassy park areas and a great crazy golf course. There are beaches in Sirmione which looked good, loads of people in the water. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Amazingly friendly and hospitable staff - family run business. Great location footsteps from lake shore. Simple but nice breakfast. Very good value for money, would recommend!

We had a fantastic 3 night stay here. Such lovely, friendly, welcoming people. They couldn't do enough to make our stay special. A very lovely hotel. They even sorted out posting our camera back which we'd unfortunately left it there. Cannot thank them enough. We will definitely return!
