Novotel Parma Centro

Nice hotel but kinda in a sketch area by the train station. Centro is about 6 blocks away

Great reception staff. Pool barman/attendant helpful. Ideal location for station and proximity to historical centre

Hotel is right next to the train station and a 15 minute stroll to centre.

Nice hotel, clean and recently upgraded. Room spacious, large good bed and huge bathroom with great shower. Hotel is opposite train station therefore somewhat dirty area with undesirables hanging around and dealing across the road from hotel. Restaurant hotel is a must try but breakfast average.

Overall very good. Great location near the station and a 10 min walk into town. The room was nice albeit slightly cramped in size. The corridors could do with an update; I am comparing to the Novotel in Lyon which was fantastic. The thing they need to improve is the check-in with only one person to cope with a long queue of people.

Nice hotel. What you would expect for a nice 4 star hotel, but too close to the train station, which is not a nice neighborhood, and 20 minute walk away from the historic center.

When we arrived for check-in the guest in front of us was having terrible trouble trying to settle his bill, as the employee on the desk could not add up his parking and tax charges for his stay. she clicked on a calculator for 20 minutes, before she agreed with what he had been telling her all along even though she wanted to charge him more than what was owed. when we got to her after his account was settled which was around 25 minutes she didn’t even apologise for the delay or welcome us to the hotel or even say hello, she just said, “name on reservation?” Honestly not the welcome we expected, but thankfully did not reflect the rest of our stay as it was excellent and would happily stay in the hotel again. Roof top pool was also a nice escape from exploring Parma and refreshing when the temperatures were so high.

I stay frequently here and was disappointed that the past two trips this month the conditioner has not worked. This trip I asked reception 3 times to top it up as the pump didn’t work and called from my room - it was never sorted - very frustrating

Great location

Disappointing stay. Air conditioning did not work (even after we had been told that it was corrected) and so I barely slept. Breakfast was very busy….long queues for coffee machine (I waited almost 10 mins) which was difficult for us as he had to leave for a flight.

Good location near station and 10mins walk from town centre

Clean room, beautiful hotel. Generally a good hotel. They advertised a pool but it was closed. They advertised air conditioning but it was turned off. Executive rooms are not business friendly, not desk.
