Palazzo Seneca

Way overpriced for the way-too-small room.

We found the P.S. to be a very attractive property. Norcia is delightful small city. Staff very pleasant and helpful and professional. Our only challenge was the parking. It is difficult and limited. One must navigate very narrow twisty city streets.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The quality is amazing and the attention to detail in every aspect is impeccable. Absolutely spectacular hotel.

Beautiful Property excellently designed and decorated. Staff professional and helpful. The One Star Michelin restaurant on property could easily be a Two Star. Amazing Bravo

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - hotel is an old palace and the whole place is so unique. Only thing was it was a bit challenging to find the ‘front desk’ to check in (not the typical counter you expect to see at a hotel) so took us a little bit to check in etc but was such a lovely place to stay

I have been traveling in Tuscany and Umbria for the last 2 weeks. Of all the places I went this hotel alone made a difference in my travel. Wonderful owner, service staff and chef they are the EPITOME OF HOSPITALITY. It made me realize the next time, I am planning an Italian vacation it will be in Umbria. Once again, I want to thank Palazzo Seneca for making our vacation memorable.

Very delightful hotel with an outstanding breakfast. Turkish bath, steam and sauna. Easy access to Sibillini park.

Unfortunately the city was hit by an earthquake and the are under construction

What a fantastic stay we had. We came for the food (top notch restaurant) but fell in love with the town too. The hotel is brilliantly situated and also has an excellent cafe concession in town. Try the truffle scattered scrambled eggs. At the hotel, we had a 7 course dinner of dreams. Staff couldn't have been nicer. There is a lovely spa area in the basement too.

The property is perfectly located. It is just off the main square, close to the harbor, shopping and dining.

Very classy and thoughtful hotel with good service. Breakfast service was a little disorganized though.

A beautiful, polished hotel in the heart of a lovely mountain town. Exceptional service and food make this a destination in and of itself.

A really lovely and luxurious place to stay. We loved the tour around the palace when we first arrived and appreciated hearing some of the history of the building. Parking was very easy when we arrived and very close to the hotel. The staff were super friendly and all spoke English to an exceptionally high standard. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice and the view from the windows of the surrounding buildings and mountains was wonderful too.

...the village has a very long way to go to recover from the 2016 earthquake, so activity is minimal. The hotel is a treat, especially the food and the spa! Very relaxing place.

Wonderful service, lovely room. Couldn’t have been better.

Nearly perfect, except for an iron frame bed that squeaked with the slightest movement. After a sleepless night, we were moved to another room, without question. However, the staff did not seem surprised at the problem. I suspect that is a recurring condition. The rooms were comfortable, tasteful, and the hotel was ideally situated. The hotel and restaurant staffs were very helpful and professional.

The palazzo is a visually stunning property. Elegant, serene, and welcoming, it immediately sets the mood for a stay. The staff is extraordinary. Nothing is impossible.whatever your need or desire may be, the staff will find a way. From truffle hunts,to cooking lessons to a private farm tour,they are there to make your stay memorable and a delight. The food is classic Italian with a very modern twist which earned a Michelin star this year. This was our second visit, and we are planning our third already. The palazzo was not affected by the terrible earthquake. They, like the brave people of Norcia, are taking care of their own, and helping to rebuild a beautiful city. We cannot wait to return and do our part support them. Bravo Norcia!
