Hotel Riu Negril - All Inclusive

My family and I enjoyed our stay the staff was 5 star in responsiveness, welcoming and friendly interactions. We had a 5 star ocean view in our family 2 bedroom was as described. We would have liked an chair in the king bedroom. The beach and pool area was clean and plenty of chairs. Entertainment , music, theme nights & staff performance for adults was good. The water activities center has opportunities. There was not enough visual aid communications to describe the option, the staff could have provide more description to fit the wants/ needs of our family. We asked to go on listed 7 mile snorkel expedition per listed description. The agent said it was not available then directed to an AM snorkel & booby cay stop. The snorkel stop was great but we paid $$$$ only to then land at Booby Cay for lite lunch. Upon arrival there were no stands open/or available to purchase food/beverages or vendor shopping. When I asked if we could go to & mile to get food I was told no as this was the stop per itinerary. My self and (6) other guests had to wait 45min to then be sailed back to our hotel(s). Outside of that 1 x issue my family & I enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Negril.

The entertainers were so friendly and enthusiastic! The food was good in all venues. Beaches could get crowded but we could always fine some shade. Overall, we enjoyed our time there very much and were happy with the resort.

I liked everything about the property. Spa was nice. Wish i got a swim up room. I had a nice comfortable sized balcony, most of the other balconies looked very small. The only thing i didnt like is they took out their hot tub during the remodle nor did they have a bathtub in the room. I have back isses and at the very least really meeded a tub of some sort. I will not stay here again just because of that reason. When you have back issues and need to soak it is necessary for either a hot tub or bath tub.

even though we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door The cleaning lady entered unannounced and uninvited while we were in bed. Enough said

Second day at the hotel, even though the big red "do not disturb" sign hung on the door, the cleaning lady barged into our room, unannounced and certainly uninvited while my wife and I were in bed. Enough said

Staff was nice, resort was clean. Lots of things to do. Rooms were nice. Had a great time. Food wasnt the greatest but the buffets had something for everyone. Breakfast at Green Island was the best part

This was my 2nd time staying at this property. I came back because everything was perfect last year so I figured I’d invite my family this year especially knowing that they were starting renovations when I checked out. After being placed in a different room type other than what I purchased,I was “upgraded” to a partial suite. The room was a disaster and I was so embarrassed after bragging on how great it was last year! The caulking throughout the toilet room and bathroom was not complete. I couldn’t enjoy the rain shower head because the pipe was damaged and all the water was spraying up on the damaged ceiling. I had to use the hand held as a shower instead. We were missing hand and wash cloths upon getting to the room, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and no trash can . I was there celebrating my 43rd birthday and the condition of the room almost ruined it!!! If it wasn’t for O’Neal at the bar and Ashoya at FD I probably would have found other accommodations. I manage hotels so this was very disappointing.

The property was up to expectations. The staff, food and drinks were amazing. Great water pressure. Enjoyed my stay.

Great and friendly staff

My kids and I had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the resort, it was peaceful to me. The staff were so pleasant and knew me and my children’s names. Please tip, I did because they deserved it. Yes the food was basic but not terrible. As expected. Free shuttle to 7 mile beach.

The property is kept very clean and is well taken care of. Staff was overall excellent with only a couple members I had a not so great experience with. For the most part the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was okay but there were lots of options to choose from. I enjoyed my stay and would love to go back again. The entertainment was good and the Thursday parties are super fun with an excellent host and fantastic dancers and entertainers.

Amazing. Highly recommend stay at a RIU resort. Exceptional! The food, the cleanliness, the pools, the service…..all fantastic!
