Cinnamon Guest House Dogo - Hostel

Amazing! From the extremely kind and friendly host, to the clean and well decorated facilities, great place to stay. Conveniently located too (close to Dōgo park and Dōgo onsen, restaurants, foot baths).

The owner is so friendly and helpful. The lobby area with dining and kitchen resources feels very cozy and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient, just a short couple minute walk from the famous Dogo Onsen, and there is also plenty of nice shops nearby - a beautiful to explore beyond that neighborhood as well.

Very close to attractions. The hotel is clean, the free space is spacious and ventilated. The friendly owner is ready to help you with information about the onsens.

The staff was amazing, it was a well run guest house, and super close to Dogo Onsen. Would recommend in a heartbeat! Staff has great English too!

Great place! The hostel is taken care of with love and it shows. Clean and comfortable. Great reception and great location. Had a real nice feeling to it. No problems at all. They will take great care of you and give all the help you need. Recommended for sure.

It was simple and easy. All very well managed, and it was what I expected. Nice and very helpful staff, small but functional shower and bed. Just a minute away from the tourist area so far from the noise yet convenient.

My first time in a capsule. Not how I expected it to be. Definitely more privacy with curtains but it doesn't stop the snoring. Life of living in a dormitory. The owner was very helpful and kind. Access to fridge and kitchen was great.

The staff is very attentive to individual needs of each guest, always friendly. The guest house fell more like someone’s house than a conventional hostel.

We stayed in the tatami room on top - a bit difficult due to the staircase, but perfectly nice and quiet. The place is a hostel, but I cannot really comment on the hostel part. What I can say is that Shinpei is fluent in English and that is a great help, especially as he's a very nice guy. If you want to saty near Dogo Onsen and are on a budget: Very good choice.

It was early autumn with 20 degrees. The room was a bit stuffy, without air conditioning or a fan. I started sweating after changing the sheets, so I asked the host if they could turn on the air conditioning. He was very reluctant, saying I shouldn't feel hot and that I was the only one feeling hot in the room. He believed that I could manage without turning on the air conditioning. However, I really felt hot. The air in the room wasn't circulating well, and I was especially concerned that it would become even stuffier with more people at night. But the host surprisingly claimed that it would get cold at night and insisted on keeping the windows and doors shut without turning on the air conditioning. I was astonished. Wouldn't we all suffocate in such a situation? I couldn't stand being in a closed space without a fan or proper ventilation, so I insisted on having the air conditioning on. After a 15-minute argument, the host reluctantly turned on the air conditioning, and in a very impolite manner, asked, "Are you happy now?" I was offended by this rude attitude. Despite having paid for three nights, I immediately left and found a new hotel. 房間沒有冷氣和風扇，我換完床單後流汗，問host 能否開冷氣，他十分不情願，花了15分鐘argue 我不應感到熱，甚至晚上會冷得要關上門窗（缺氧挑戰？）我堅持要開冷氣保持空氣流通，他最終不情願地開冷氣，問我are you happy now？ 我極度驚訝和不能接受，雖然已付3晚房租，但也立即離開，換了新酒店

感じの良いオーナーさんでした。そのためか他の利用客の方もフレンドリーでした。次回も利用したいです！

家族で一室を利用しました。 道後温泉のメイン通りにも歩いていける距離にあります。 唯一、テレビが部屋になかったことが残念でした。

共有スペースが広くて貸し切り状態でした。

特に不満無く、過ごせた。

オーナーさんの人柄の良さや、施設内の雰囲気も落ち着き易いインテリアでした。ロケーションも温泉にすぐ行ける場所なので、総合的に私は非常に満足出来ました。
