Unfortunately, my stay did not live up to expectations. While the staff were friendly, there were several aspects of the experience that left me disappointed. The room was generally clean, but I found a strand of hair on the bed and another by the sink on arrival. Check-in was fine, although the reception area is oddly placed as it shares the same space as the bar, which felt a little unusual. I didn’t try the breakfast because the menu offered a limited selection. The kitchenette was useful but only provided the basic essentials. The bed was also not particularly comfortable. One frustrating issue was that the shower initially appeared not to work. It required a separate switch to be turned on, but this was not explained and there was no signage in the room. Once working, however, the shower and round bath were good. The balcony was a nice feature, but overall the room felt more basic than the promotional photos suggested. Overall, the experience did not quite meet my expectations.

Utensils and cups had stains. Asked for extra tissue box and recep couldn't bring it up to our room for us instead asked us to take it along to dinner. Bed sheet spread was not fully covering mattress. Room faced railroad and was noisy. Breakfast was underwhelming. Layout was great for big families though and overall facilities for a good nights sleep good.

I loved this hotel — it was super clean, the staff was wonderful, and the location was excellent. I loved the coffee and the comfortable areas throughout the hotel. The beds were also very comfortable.

Large spacious room, kitchen facility, functional, nice bathroom

Rooms are well equipped with charging ports by the bedside and kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. Shower area is pretty tight but the toilet is kept separate which is good if you have someone showering and another person needing to use the toilet.

Absolutely clean, massive rooms. The wet area was phenomenal in our room, with a large bath the two of us could sit and soak in each night. Two double beds with very comfortable pillows! The staff were friendly, there was a small range of amenities. The only thing I would change is brick in the open segment behind the sinks - this brings light into the room early morning (nothing serious).

Nice room, good location

The hotel was clean, very spacious and family friendly. The kids loved the bunk bed set up. Staff was very attentive and helpful. They provide all of the necessary toiletries which was very helpful and much appreciated. The cafe shop was nice .

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The place is clean and accessible. The hotel staff were friendly. The rooms, toilet and bathroom are pretty big compare to other Japan hotels.

Great location near the railway station and central to all of Takayama.

It was almost perfect. The towels were very thin and old, and the light switches were very hard to understand. Other than those two tiny things everything else was perfect. Very clean nice and comfortable.

Did not expect quasi Japan style room with no real chairs. But, Location was excellent.
