It’s far from all the sites but it is accessible to Miyajima by boat that leaves from the property. It is an additional costs. Limited places to eat around the hotel other than the hotel itself.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, super convenient if you want to take the ferry to Miyajima. There is a shuttle available to and from Hiroshima station (from needs to be booked in advance, but we walked on the shuttle back to the station without an advance booking). The rooms were wonderful, with many amenities including comfy pajamas, bed/pillows, and a place to lay down and watch TV if desired. You can easily sign into your own streaming subscriptions from the TV. We only stayed one night, but it was a fantastic stay.

The hotel is a little far from the train station. If you’re planning to go to Miyajima you will have to take the speed boat offer by the travel agent office in the hotel ( a little expensive)

Location of the property is excellent. Having a eoom in the ocean view was amazing. Food was at rooftop terrace restaurant was not worth for the price. Some desserts were finished, they didn't fill even we asked. May be they were rushed to close it at 9pm.

The breakfast area was very spacious, and beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the meal. There was plenty of seating and the environment felt comfortable and welcoming. Another great advantage was the free parking facility, which made the stay very convenient and stress-free for guests traveling by car.

We stayed here as we wanted to visit Miyajima island for a day trip. That worked really well and it was a good place to stay in Hiroshima and match with the island day trip. If you were not doing this, I do not know why you would stay here though. Room price was OK, but was very small, beds were hard and pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast was very expensive and so were all dining options except for the onsite okonomyaki (which was great). We had the top floor buffet the other night, which was OK, but the okonomyaki was probably actually better and 1/4 the price. Other reason we staid here was the pictures of the indoor pool, but this is actually a spa and is a paid extra per person. Checked later and saw that the description doesn't say indoor pool - so that was on us I guess...

The hotel is beautiful, and the room was very comfortable. I would probably stay here again. The hotel is the last/first stop on one of the bus lines, which made it convenient for sightseeing. The bus is only every 30-40 minutes though, so you have to time things out or wait for the next bus. The island has a nice walking path around it, which was a fun addition to staying at this hotel! We had two issues with staying at this hotel. The public baths cost 2000 yen per person, and are very strict about no tattoos. We were not able to use this amenity even with tattoo covers, unfortunately. The hotel has a laundry service but does NOT have on-site laundry machines to do your own laundry. We were able to take the bus/walk to a nearby laundromat, because the laundry service was pretty expensive.
