great choice to stay. room was spacious enough, compared to other hotel I stayed at in tokyo and osaka. they gave you night gown and two pillows each (great for those of you guys who are used to having bolster at home). This hotel also provide you with free bicycle rental (you will find it very handy to travel by bicycle in kyoto). The place is very near to nijo castle and karasuma oike station. definitely will come back again if I visit kyoto in future.

The location is close to the Nishiki market, can be reached on foot and many interesting shops that can be explored. Modern hotel, there is a 7-11 near the hotel.

Everything was clean and the staff was amazing, they let you store your bags there after check out so you can do some more exploring of Kyoto and all it has to offer!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Theres a little station with free tea and toiletries. Very pleased with my stay here. I was just unaware of the JPY800 extra charge when I arrived. But all in all it was still quite affordable on a budget.

The room, by Japanese standards, was huge, so my perspective is somewhat off. That said the spaciousness was great The location is as per ads close (4-5 ,minute walk) to Nishiki market....and another 10 minutes to the BIG shops. The hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet section with many nearby shops, including a 7/11 1 minute away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For your dollar. It is hard to beat. Will stay there again.

Great location, including 7-11 on the street, very close to subway and walkable to places like Nijo Castle and Gion. Friendly and helpful staff and room big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Reasonable price for a hotel during Cherry Blossom season that ticked all of our boxes.

Clean room and friendly staff. Room is a bit on the smaller side and was quite warm. When trying to use the Aircon there was a horrible smell so decided to just open the window instead.

Very clean and well located. Just around the corner from train station with good eateries nearby and many sites within walking distance or a train/bus ride away. Rooms are generously sized for Japan standards (didn't feel like a closet). We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
