Hotel Fine Garden Matsuyama

It’s a love hotel, I didn’t know when I booked it but honestly, it had great amenities in the room, so I’d argue it was worth it

A big communication issue - No one speaks any foreign language to include English, Korean, Chinese or Vietnamese.

I recommend staying at this hotel to experience a Japanese love hotel. It is a bit far out but walkable from the train station 1 stop from the main station in Matsuyama. Super clean very large room and friendly helpful staff.

It is a adult only hotel. Value for money if you don't mind to see some "adult" stuff and tv.

Our first stay at a 'adult' hotel. Liked the big rooms and the amenities given. The bath tub was a real eye opening experience. However, we did not appreciate some of the 'adult' materials present, especially the audio visual aspects, but we were able to ignore them and just enjoy the other facilities presented.

Giant room, good breakfast (must schedule the time). It took 15 minutes to figure the gadgets, esp to shut lights, muzak, and recording of moaning couple.

Yes it's a love hotel, however it's fabulously well equipped has spacious immaculately clean rooms and some of the best facilities and amenities I've experienced, better than Hilton suites frankly. Well worth the stay.

As long as you are prepared to ignore some of the things you expect in a love hotel (unless that's why you are staying here of course) the room is very nice for the price you pay! The room is very big and there is a large bathroom and shower. Everything was clean and there is a great range of toiletries and amenities provided. The only downside if you are staying here to see the sights is that it is slightly out of the way - you need to catch a local train from Matsuyama station, and these are only every half hour or so. The walk from the train is about ten minutes too, although there are always taxis at the station.

I did not know what "adult only" meant until I checked in. This is a Japanes "Love Hotel" where privacy seeking couples come to enjoy. Can be rented by hours instead of days. They put this type of hotels (adults only) at bargain rate during light period(usually week days) Have everything a couple needs in the room and something can be bought using the machine in the room to avoid contacts with the staff. The front desk people stay inside office until called out to minimize face-to-face contacts with customers. Very clean. Have whirlpool, game, big screen tv, karaoke machine, and large room. I think female alone customers might feel a little uncomfortable.
