Hotel Miyajima Villa

Very convenient location right by the ferry!

really nice hotel. Conveniently located. Breakfast is excellent. Breakfast staff very courteous. Overly expensive for duration of our stay. Expected more but the island is beautiful.

The staff were lovely, polite, helpful and kind. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable, same goes for the onsen. The food was also excellent. Would love to stay again if I’m lucky enough to go to Miyajima again.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Staff was always kind and helpful. Location was excellent-just across the road from the ferry terminal. Facilities were excellent-like new, and the amenities were more than expected-lounge ware, slippers and room also had a massage chair.

The location was good, right near the ferry, and the coffee station in the lobby was a nice perk, but at $70 per person, the dinner buffet was a huge rip-off. The wines were low quality and the food was very mediocre, with very small amounts of each item. They claimed it was the best food on the island when we checked in, but that was far from the truth.

The service was so helpful and friendly and the hotel was close to the ferry terminal which made it easy to get to, drop our stuff and head out to explore. The hotel had everything we needed to get through, with lots of inclusions, like local sweets, tea and coffee complimentary. Would 100% recommend.

The hotel is so close to the ferry terminal, so that is super convenient. As well as easy walking to the shrines & temples, shopping street and many cafes and shops. The onsen set up is fabulous!! You cannot see the floating Torii from the hotel, but it has views of the water, ferry terminal, and the mainland beyond. Laundry facility was always available when we needed it.

We had a wonderful stay at Miyajima Villa. The hotel perfectly combines modern comfort with traditional Japanese charm, and the atmosphere on Miyajima made the experience especially memorable. The staff were warm and attentive, and everything was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Miyajima.

Excellent location just near the ferry. Spacious and clean rooms.

The hotel is fantastic. Location is ideal, steps away from the ferry terminal and a short walk from the shore across from the O-torii gate. Staff is always helpful and courteous, the room was wonderful, with a view of the harbor. There is a bar that serves good food next to the lobby, and a great bakery for breakfast. The one thing we would recommend the hotel to modify is the following: There is a nice formal restaurant in the basement level that is supposed to be really good, and every sign and reference to it mention it closes at 9pm. However, last entry is at 7pm, and this is not mentioned anywhere until you actually get to the restaurant. We got there at 7:40pm, so for us it was too late, and we were unable to enjoy the restaurant. We will have to do it next time! And by the way, we would definitely stay at Miyajima Villa Hotel again. Highly recommend.

Perfectly located across the road from the Ferry (no issue with noise). Nice sized rooms, perhaps in need of a little refresh (room door did not seal very well, large gaps around the edge and bottom which meant could hear corridor noise). Buffet style dinner and breakfast was amazing, so tasty & such a good variety. Really enjoyed that the ingredients were locally sourced. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Optimal location right next to the ferry. Spacious and clean room with beautiful view and atmosphere. The service was warm and helpful.

The location of the hotel was convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had two room, one room had a massage chair and the other, the beds reclined with a push of a button. There laundry room was clean and the washer and dryer worked great. The pastries from the bakery were fresh and delicious. The staff were wonderful! They were kind, helpful and sooo nice. When we left the owner walked us to the door and stood there waving and watching us till we arrived to the entrance of the port, he bowed at us and waved one final time. I highly recommend staying here.
