Hotel Resol Machida

It was nice

Breakfast is Japanese style, so don't expect anything continental. Staff is mostly helpful some do not speak English. Room gets cleaned only once a week which seems alittle inadequate. Single rooms are small by US standards. Other than that hotel is clean and well maintained. All eminities are available in the lobby or other floors. Bathroom is on a raised platform which was somewhat annoying. I would stay here because of its proximity to the rail/bus/taxi station.

Great place to stay near the Shinyurigaoka station. Very convenient and excellent staff.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was polite, courteous and accommodating. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. The hotel was in a great location; walking distance to the train station, restaurants, retail shopping stores and a full service grocery store.

The room was clean and had everything I needed. The air conditioner worked well. Although, I selected a non-smoking room, I was still able to smell the smoke coming in through the vents. I am very sensitive to smell and smoke and it was quite bothersome. I also found it inconvenient to have to step up to enter the bathroom. I always worried that I could potentially trip by stepping out of the bathroom. The room was very dated, it definitely needs to be updated. It was difficult to communicate with staff and in the end I was charged an extra fee of almost $40 that I have no idea what it was for. I booked this room for a business trip and I will definitely not be staying here again.

This hotel has a funny welcome gift of a token for the capsule machine near the elevator, which dispenses some little snacks that "Machida's famous goodies." The parking lot is underground, and a little difficult to get into, and there was some construction noise, but we'd been told about that the night before. It's a clean modern hotel, with all the standard amenities just a short walk from the main commercial area of Machida. There are convenience stores, restaurants, shopping, and public transit options just a few min away on foot.
