Location of the hotel is great!! 2 mins walk from sunshine city and 4 mins walk from parco. There are also a lot of animate related store nearby! The staff is super welcoming and helpful. The room is a little small though.

Hotel is in quiet area but very close to Sunshine City, shopping and restaurant. About 10-15 mins walk to Metro. The wifi network is unstable. Love the free buffet breakfast with lot of different variety dishes everyday, great staff and service, thank you.

Our stay was amazing, close to the station, reception staff were amazing.
Only negative was the bed was extremely firm.
Would reccomend for a short stay <4 days.

The staffs are very friendly. I also like the included breakfast. I don’t like that there seems to be smoky smell coming from the central air conditioning system. This hotel still use a physical metal key (no electronic card key)and only one key is being issued to each room, although you can leave your key at the front desk when going out. Overall, the staff are the stars for this hotel.

A nice, lived-in business hotel just a stone's throw away from the craziness of Highashi-Ikebukuro.
It was clearly a rebranded branch of an old business hotel chain, but personally, that adds to the charm to me. Showa/bubble-era places have extra appeal that I look for when I travel to Japan.
Good breakfast, and amenities relative to the price paid.

Staff service was great.
Not too far from the train station which is so convenient to see other places.
But the building is so old so vetillation in the room is not great. Needs a renovation.

Nice and friendly staff. The hotel room key is not as convenient compared to a keycard which other hotels have. The hotel room is a little dated and the bed was super hard to sleep in. Overall, I like the location because it is within walking distance of other areas in Ikebukuro and the breakfast option was decent.

Convenient location, close to the Sunshine City mall and main street in Ikebukuro area that has the new Animate store. Lots of food and souvenir stores to explore.
Room itself was a decent size for Japanese standards, we got the non-smoking room and had no odor (I'm pretty sensitive to cigarette odors). Bathroom and room was clean, no questionable stains on the sheets :)
Staff is friendly, helpful and know some English as well for those travelers that don't speak any Japanese. They were able to store our luggage before check-in and even took our bags up to our room once one was available. They also held our bags after check-in so we could do a bit more exploring before leaving the area.

Very close to Sunshine City and other shops including the flagship Animate store and the largest Pokémon centre. The hotel included breakfast daily although it does look as though it could do with a refresh as furniture had a few bumps and bruises and decor looked dated. Staff were very friendly l, welcoming and helpful. I would stay here again when visiting Tokyo.

Wonderful hotel! Will definitely stay again! Quite eco-friendly! Breakfast was good! Location was very good! Only across the street from the Main Street for shopping in Ikebukuro. About 5 mins walk from sunshine city, good food options all around and convenience stores everywhere! Close to the station! Good service by the staff!
