Hotel Shinpoin Osaka

Our room was very spacious, quiet, and clean. Staff are friendly and nice. There’s also small kitchenette if you want to cook or warm foods. The hotel is about 3-4 blocks walk to a nearest train station/shops/market/restaurants and about less than 3km away from Dotonbori so we normally just walk there.

Great staff, comfortable rooms. Beer sold at front desk. Restaurant did not appear to be open, although they did provide one free bento breakfast. Not many food options nearby.

Professional and friendly staff, however the hotel is a bit far from most attractions. There is a bus option to dotonbori about 10mins from the hotel and T line close to the hotel, also about 10mins. There were some spots that lacked cleanliness but overall clean.

Nice decent room for family of 3. It's clean. Staff are helpful when we asked for towels, kitchen stuffs and buying laundry liquid. The area is quiet and safe. Walk around 10' to 20' to different train stations.

It was our first time going to japan and we we worried

It wasn't clear that the detergent was supposed to be bought at reception. There is a Lawson nearby and a supermarket

Parking a few blocks away, I was charged twice what the desk info indicated. No ice machine. Very thin towels. I would not stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you could need. There is laundry on site which was also a positive.

Stayed here for 6 nights. The area is quiet and around a 10 minute walk to the subway. The staff were very friendly and helped us with luggage forwarding, they had the slip ready for us when we checked out!

Pros: • The hotel is very clean. • The staff is kind and helpful. Cons: • There doesn’t appear to be on-site parking. I couldn’t find any parking spaces in or around the hotel building, which contradicts the property’s listed amenities. If you’re traveling with a lot of luggage or with babies/toddlers, this can be quite inconvenient. Parking is about five minutes away, and you may need to make multiple trips. • Cooking pots, utensils, and dishware are not provided in the room by default. You need to request them at the front desk, and availability is limited—so they may not always be available. Additionally, there’s no phone in the room to call the front desk, so you have to go downstairs in person to make the request. • The kitchenette is very small, and the sink is often occupied by cooking ware. As a result, we had to use the bathroom sink to wash dishes. • There’s no restaurant in the hotel or nearby, so it’s important to plan ahead for meals. • Laundry facilities are available, but they only accept cash. Be aware that there are no nearby places to withdraw cash, so bring some in advance if you plan to do laundry.

Quiet area, has everything you need. The station is about 18min walk. Comfy beds, spacious room which is a plus and very clean. Will definitely stay again

Excellent hotel for stay in Osaka. Hotel is in a quiet residential area but still 2 train stations are in 15 minutes walking distance. There are 2 family marts nearby for quick snacks. Room was spacious and well maintained. Will definitely book again if I visit Osaka.

Just what we needed :)

Had the best stay here at Hotel Shinpoin. The customer service is amazing. They really go above and beyond to help. We had a lovely lady help us with luggage forwarding service. Easy and simple, all the paperwork etc done within minutes. A very eco friendly hotel, rooms have a sink and cooking area with a working fridge. Dishes and dish cleanser is provided to avoid use of single use plastic. Very clean hotel room, comfortable, bathrooms are spacious and very clean. We staying in a super twin, which had 3 single beds.

Family friendly for a family of 5. Wish there were more dining options other than walking 20-35 minutes but worth the stay if you're okay with walking.
