Hotel Strata Naha

The architecture and design elements of the hotel are gorgeous. Very modern. The price is good. The setting for the pool is pretty but the pool is very small, quite shallow, and leaves much to be desired. The food is awful. Just terrible. It is like it is trying to be fancy modern cooking but it flops. The breakfast is the same every other day (only a two menu rotation). The options almost all contain dairy (despite more than 50% of humans being allergic to dairy). They are tasteless. Cardboardy rice. Bland flavours. No salt. No sugar. And nothing western! Do not opt for the prepaid breakfast. You’re better off running across the road to 7-11 or around the corner to Lawson. The rooftop bar is pretty. Hours are limited and it’s a shame they made it a bar so you can’t bring your 12 year old up to see the view. The hotel is smack in the middle of the city, which is convenient for city stuff, but why go to Okinawa to do city stuff?! I regretted not choosing a beach resort up island right from the start. Naha is a little too mini Osaka/Dotonbori for my taste. The location beside the monorail was convenient for getting around. I love Japan. Okinawa was okay. I thought it would be more rural but it is just never-ending city upon city upon city. Capybaras at Southeast Botanical Gardens was our highlight. I wouldn’t go back to Okinawa. Once in a lifetime was enough. It was enjoyable but not on a repeat level. If I want a beach vacation, I’ll just go to a beach vacation location.

Amazing hotel! Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. Parking is convenient and the hotel is close to the shopping areas. Thank you!

It was fine; dining options limited. Rooms and decor were amazing.

Staff were very nice, breakfasts that came with my room were so so delicious. My wife and I had such a wonderful time here. They have a Very cute garden in the back of hotel.

Very clean and modern hotel with great amenities.

Great location only a 5 minute walk from Kokusaidori. Lots of delicious dining options around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out were done via machine, super fast and easy! We would definitely stay here again!

We booked the corner room. Hotel is clean and we loved the breakfast which was at reasonable price. My friend had an issue with Agoda not showing her booking. Eventually, the Hotel Manager settled the issue for her so I say well done to the staff.

Great location, small but clean rooms.

We booked Hotel Strata based on recommendations and were pleasantly surprised at how conveniently located the hotel was to everything we wanted to check out in Naha. Not only was the hotel super easy to get to by monorail, the hotel itself is also a little zen oasis. Our room was super comfortable with great amenities for a Japanese hotel. Highly recommend this hotel and next time we return to Naha/Okinawa, we will be staying here again!

good location , lots of good Restaurants nearby and train just outside hotel. Quiet and clean rooms. Balcony has taken up much space, room is quite small as a result. For a night stay is fine

Fantastic location next to train station, 7 stops to airport for 300 yen, and loads of stores and restaurants nearby, including Don Quijote on the famed shopping street. Laundry machines at hotel dispense detergent automatically. In-room Nepresso coffee machine. Nice gym with new equipment.
