Convenient location, decent for a couple nights
My girlfriend and I stayed there for 2 days and it was clean and comfortable. I was going to rate it a 3 because it's starting to get a little run down and old but the staff were very polite, room was clean and comfortable and train station was very close. For the price its ok.

Nice hotel and by the subway
My friends and I were staying for one night here. You are close to the subway which is nice when you want to go explore other areas. The staff there were super friendly and nice! Would recommend this place as it is not too pricy.

One nights stay
Perfect situation to where we wanted to be for one night in Fukuoka. Close to Ohori Park, shops, cafes and nightlife and the subway station. Not far from Hakata station and the Tenjin area. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Excellent value.

Good budget hotel and bad nearby local ramen shop
I decided to stay here fr. 28 Mar to 1 Apr 2017 because I could go to Ohori Park, Maizura Park & Nishi Park by foot to see cherry blossom easily. It's a pity I went a bit too early for full cherry blossom. The hotel was clean and quality of service was high. The bathroom facilities were clean and good but the flush and shower generated too loud noise when these were in use. There're buildings outside the window and part of Ohori Park could be seen from my room no. 908. There's a map in Japanese showing the nearby food choices at the lobby. We passed by a local ramen/noodle shop 祭尾商店 No. 10 on the hotel map. There's a long queue at the opposite spaghetti restaurant (No. 7) while all the seats were vacant in this local ramen shop. We dinned at this shop 祭尾商店for convenience. The noodle and dumpling were alright but the fired rice was fairly average. However the cook & female worker were extremely impolite. It's the reason why no other customer in this noodle shop and all customers dinned at other nearby spaghetti restaurant (No. 7 on the map) & ramen shop博多一幸舎 (No. 6 on the map). We were regret for our choice. If we could choose again, we would have chosen the opposite ramen shop博多一幸舎 (No. 6).

Only one elevator.
When we were checking in, there was a couple before us so we waited our turn. There was another couple behind us. As soon as the other Front desk staff, Atanabe, was free, she motioned the couple behind us. Is that really how it is? You prioritized The couple behind us because they were Japanese? I think that wasn't fair. This hotel had only one elevator. They only have tea as part of the amenities... no coffee. The bathroom was too small. The room was actually small. It's 5 minutes to the nearest train station. You had to get the free amenities at the ground floor. They didn't have any English movie channels and only had a couple of English news channels.
