I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in my time and I have to say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Check in isn’t until 5pm but check out is 1pm. The welcoming staff were super friendly and very helpful. You have amenities in your room but they have extra in the lobby. Who knew heated eye pads were a thing! That I now need in my life. The room was amazing with a king bed and a 3 piece bathroom that has an onsen and a separate shower that use water from the hot springs. And oh my god, the bed is the best. The softest sheets I have ever slept on and the quilt makes you feel like you are sleeping in a cloud. (In hindsight I wish I had taken the quilt and have charged me to buy the quilt, it was that amazing) we checked out as late as we could just so I could lay under the quilt. I’m just annoyed with myself that I only booked this for 1 night.

This is a modern Japanese style simple hotel within easy walking distance of everything in Hakone-yumoto. Check-in was smooth and helpful. The room was well equipped and scrupulously clean although not huge it was big enough. The beds are low to the floor and the lighting subdued (as it is throughout the hotel) in the Japanese style, the shower was excellent. Staff were helpful. Would I stay here again - yes.

Wonderful small hotel, well located just outside the central area. Very spacious rooms, slick modern decor, lots of space to relax and store your things. Our room was on the top floor with a private rooftop onsen that was absolutely fantastic. The rooms don’t really have much in the way of windows or views, but the overall experience is marvelous. There is no food service in the hotel but there are many options nearby.

Wife and I love this place. Very quiet and personal hot tub is nice even though it is a bit smaller than I expected. Would try the bigger room next time. Location is good but will need a little bit of walk from station if you don't drive (we didn't). Would be nicer iff we didn't have to lift our luggage for the stairs at front door. Not impossible but it might be an obstacle for some other ppl.
