My husband and I LOVED our stay here from Oct 18 to Oct 21 and it was the absolutely perfect start to our honeymoon. We were surprised to learn that our booking also included dinner each day (in addition to the breakfast!). This made our trip soo convenient so that we didn't have to worry about meals except for lunch (but this was easy and there are amazing local restaurants nearby). The check in staff will coordinate your meal time with you and you could always adjust the times by calling the front desk, just make sure to give them enough time to do so. The meals were delicious and the staff were always courteous to explain the menu. They also ask about any food allergies before your stay or at check in, so make sure to let them know. We always looked forward to each meal because they changed it up everyday!
We booked the Executive Suite with the Ocean View and it was WORTH IT. The room has a balcony where we were able to see both the sunrise and sunset.
Number one amenity to check out is the open air baths. There are six private rooms and fortunately we were able to see an available one for the two times we went. From there, you can catch the sunrise/sunset and it was BEAUTIFUL. Such a cool amenity to have at a hotel and I wish we went more than we did because this was a huge highlight of our trip.
Absolutely fell in love with this place and we wish we stayed here for the entirety of our trip!

Every part of our stay at Hyakuna Garan was memorable. This is a place where thoughtfulness shows in every detail—from the serene design to the incredible staff who were consistently kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere was deeply relaxing, making it easy to disconnect and fully enjoy the experience.
The food exceeded all expectations. It was much better than I anticipated from the online reviews. Every meal featured incredibly fresh ingredients and a well-balanced mix of Okinawan dishes. Dining here became one of the highlights of our stay.
The open-air baths were easy to use, beautifully maintained, and added a special, calming rhythm to each day.
If you’re considering Hyakuna Garan, don’t hesitate. Splurge on at least 1-2 nights—you won’t regret it.

Amazing place for relaxation and getting away! Five stars doesn’t do it justice, would give it ten stars! The meals were out of this world. Highly recommend the Hakuin suite.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is the best mix of traditional Japanese with contemporary modern facilities. The breakfasts and dinners are amazing and are such a huge part of the entire experience. The staff are extremely accommodating in every way possible; we especially appreciated their accommodating my mother's dietary restrictions. The private baths on the roof are also a must. We are already planning our next trip here!

This is a top hotel. The room and grounds are stunning. The food is elevated to an art form. All the food was locally sourced from the islands. You could taste the freshness in every bite. My favorite activity was taking an open air bath on the top floor of the hotel. I visited the open air bath at sunrise and sunset, even in the rain. What an experience!

The stay and the experience was fantastic. Absolutely unique and uniquely Japanese. The room itself was good although it was no better than other top resorts around world. The distinguishing factor is really the whole experience and the whole package - from the view, to the Japanese personalised service, to the fact that there are only 15 rooms and a lot of space for the 15 room occupants and the design with privacy in mInd, to the spectacular open bath experience to the meals. The whole experience was awesome and worth the expensive price tag it comes with. Stayed at the Terrace Club at Busena and that was a different (and cheaper) experience and also highly recommended. Worthy try and its globally recognized travel awards.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out everything about this place was professional and luxury. It is one of the world's greatest luxury hotels and you can tell why. Room with an ocean view, and a bathroom with glass walls. Roof top open air baths, and immaculate service you would only expect from the Japanese. A well run, high quality hotel in an amazing part of the world. Also with amazing local Okinawan food prepared professionally with amazing service.

Felt 100% welcomed and well attended. The building itself is beautiful and you can feel the designer/owner really cared about every little detail to make guest feel comfortable and enjoy the Okinawan beach and hot spring the most. I saw both sunrise and sunset on the rooftop bathing place and Mirabi beach near the hotel. Foods were all good too! Just one downer is the A/C - the wind directly drop into my face while lying down on the bed. Beautiful place and I would go again.
