Hyatt House Kanazawa

Wonderful hotel. Great location

Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff were consistently helpful, polite, and comfortable in English throughout the stay. The lobby and outdoor areas were lovely, with complimentary coffee, tea, and drinks available all day — a very generous touch. A well-stocked vending machine also covered meals, snacks, and additional beverages. The room was outstanding — spacious, spotlessly clean, well-furnished, and equipped with a kitchenette and cookware, offering a level of comfort well above expectations. An exceptionally pleasant stay, and we will without doubt be returning.

Great place to stay in the heart of Kanazawa which enabled us to use the local trains and also hire a car and travel to other locations around

This was an amazing hotel for family. It was a bit more relaxed than the sister hotel next door. Great proximity to the train station. The lobby features free drinks, which were great for enjoying happy hour.

It’s clean, it’s easy to get to, and has a really decent gym. Bathroom is great, has good lighting for makeup application, and the room itself is huge for Japan. Dislikes: - None of the rooms have windows that open. - You can’t set the AC below 20 C (about 68 F or so) Basically, if you run warm, you don’t want to stay here. The hotel will deliver an electric fan to your room if you request it, but it helped only a bit. I kept waking up hot as heck in the middle of the night. The mattress is super firm, which I as surprised by since it’s a Hyatt chain. The last hotel I stayed at in Osaka was a Japanese chain and their mattresses were amazing. Really nothing much to complain about other than that.

Bar was a great amenity but seems like the beer dispenser was always breaking. Did not get a chance to go to gym. Having a kitchen was a major benefit, going to markets and heating up food in the room was great. The small hotel made us feel like home there for a week.

The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and spacious. We stayed 4 nights at the end of February. Staff were kind and helpful and we very much enjoyed the evening happy hour drink station with all you can drink juices, tea, coffee and espresso, wine... Very close to the train station and mall with tons of dining and shopping options. Would definitely stay again.

Hôtel is very well located, near to the JR Kanazawa Station, many shopping and eateries nearby. The hotel has a special touch by offering in-house guests « happy hour » from 11am - 8pm. The amenities offered at lobby was sufficient but not as extensive as some other hotels I have been in Japan. The room I stayed in was super spacious and well equipped for 2 persons.

Great location, easy access to the train station with lots of eateries and shops nearby. Rooms were comfortable and staff were helpful and friendly.

Immaculate and pristine are the best way to describe this place, clean, comfortable wonderful. Breakfast however is a total let down, more a basic food court and not reflective of the hotel generally.

Service was nice, reception and breakfast server was so kind and fast. Food was ordinary, but tasty. Drink bar at night was exceptional. 4 sake bottes, red and white wine, soft drink, and coffee and tea for free. an access to the station, cafe, restaurant, and grocery store 1-3 min walk. I will stay here.

LOVED this hotel. Great breakfast, happy hours with sake tastings, and the spacious rooms were excellent. The staff was so kind, friendly, and helpful.

The suites they have for large groups are so wonderful.
