I visited the hotel around the same time last year while COVID was still a popular word. The service quality remains high this time though the price is higher which could be expected. We stayed at a room on 10th floor overlooking the sea and enjoying the picturesque view. We had our superb meals served inside our room by a young lady Rika San who was professional. I noticed a whole family of sea lions/ otters(?) swimming in the early morning just around the harbour dam downstair. We opened the windows in the morning while breakfast was served to have a catch of the fresh air. A seagull almost flew in probably being attracted by the smell of grilled salmon! Another time of wonderful lodging experience in the same ryokan, nice!

Fantastic service, food, hot springs and entertainment! They gave a birthday gift as we mentioned that we are celebrating a birthday at the reservation!

A nice hotel to stay, the staff are very helpful, they helped me to make the restaurant reservation before I arrive in Japan. The food in the hotel are excellent, really tasty. Plus, the free show is very funny, I like Isiguro's performance.

日本一の旅館と聞いていたのでとても期待してました。
お部屋は広く窓から見る景色も良かったのですが大浴場の隅々の黒いヌメリなどがとても気になりました。お料理も美味しかったのですがお値段とは合致してない様に思えました。このお値段だともっと良い旅館は九州には沢山あります。
期待してただけに少々残念な気持ちになりましたが宿泊してみないとわからないのでよい経験になりました。

とてもよかったです。
部屋もアップグレードしていただきました。
事前にオミクロン株感染拡大を少し危惧していることを伝え、対策状況を確認しました。
滞在中も不安に思うことは、全くありませんでした。到着から出発までほんと気持ちよく過ごさせて頂き、また訪れたいと強く思いました。
