Great central location. It’s a business hotel, but they accommodated our family of 4 really well so we could all stay in one room. Loved the location near the beautiful central square, near restaurants, shopping and a movie theater. We could hear trains on our side of the hotel but we expected it because our booking was train view and we didn’t mind it.

The Meitetsu was a great hotel for a couple needing a place to stay after dinner and drinks with friends in Toyota City. The hotel was very conveniently located near the bars and the train station. What was nice as a couple was that the bed in our room was a queen size (a rarity in Japan!) and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also a treat with many options for both Western and Japanese foods. What was also nice was that all of the breakfast foods were labelled for allergy information. Overall, nice hotel if you'd rather stay out later in Toyota City than dealing with the train to Nagoya.

全体として良かったのですが部屋にはアイロンが付いていなく、午後9時頃にチャックインしたらもうアイロンが無いと言われたのはショックでした。結構困りました。仕事で来ている人も多いと思うのでもうちょっと台数を揃えてもらえるとありがたいです。リスクが高すぎて、選択肢があれば残念ながら２度と泊まりたくないと思いました。部屋と朝食は良かったです。

My stay was in November of 2024. The property itself is nice and has recently (<5 years) been updated. However, there is no ability for the guest to cool the guest rooms, so I was forced to sleep with the windows wide open every night. Otherwise it was kept at 25 degrees C (77 degrees Farenheit), which for me is way too warm to sleep. There was an "air conditioning" knob that let you select between "off," "low," "medium," and "high," but this was just a booster fan setting for the already-present heating. This may be different during summer months, as the "air conditioning" may actually cool the room, but any time the property is heated, it seems like there is no choice other than to open the windows to cool the room.

Great spot to stay for the Rugby world Cup matches at the Toyota stadium. First night I had great view of stadium - second night had to move rooms (late second night booking as I changes my plans) and had a room overlooking station which made it a bit noisier. May be worth asking for stadium view if you're there for a few days.

Very good location in the centre of Toyota. Near shopping and train stations. Room was dated but still extremely comfortable. Needed a front-desk supplied trick to get on wifi but once we got it, wi-fi was very speedy. One of the best mid-range hotel breakfasts I've ever eaten.Beautifully presented, with lots of unexpected, local, and hotel-made choices. Powerful shower.
