The onsens were fantastic. Especially the outdoor onsen. What an amazing place

I enjoyed a pleasant stay in this small mountain resort at the edge of a small village/town near Tottori en route along the Sea of Japan coast. The hotel was well-maintained but is dated. It has a simple onsen bath on the rooftop (7th floor) and a nicer one a short climb up the mountain from the rooftop of the hotel which is connected by a wooden pathway with 5 flights of stairs. This means the climb may be a bit hard for people with disabilities. Both evening and morning meals were included in the single person room rate. These were both buffet styled meals so there was a good selection of Japanese and western cuisine on offer for both meals. The omelet station with a chef was where steak was offered the night before. There was also a drink bar.
