Spacious and clean room.

The Owner/Manager Itsuki is a very nice/interesting person. The rooms are very nice and well appointed! The Hallway, on the second flooor could use a little Cleanup.

沖縄北部の観光兼撮影のために6泊7日利用しました。 古民家ホテルと聞いていたので、どうかなと思ってましたがとっても快適に過ごせました。 特に良かったのは以下の5点です ・オーナーさん超親切(私が撮影で忙しくほとんど会話できなかったので次は色々お話ししたい ・毎日清潔なリネン類への取り替え(昨今はリネン取り替えを無しにして価格を安くするホテルがありますが、場合によっては生活し心地が良くない) ・朝ごはん美味しい(名護市街地は朝食提供のお店が少ないです) ・ビーチまで徒歩10分、サンセット最高 ・諸々の支払いはクレカ対応(北部は特にクレカ利用できないお店が多いので助かります 逆に古民家やホステルでの宿泊に慣れてないひとにはおすすめしません。いわゆるホテルとはまた違った良さがあるのです。 北部に撮影や1人観光の時は是非また利用したいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

This was the most charming place I could imagine. I felt completely at home and like family as Itsuki was a thoughtful and welcoming host. I truly hope to come back again.

Owner is very friendly and hotel is clean. Definitely will stay here again for my next trip.

The place is very old and worse for wear. Like staying in a time capsule of old Japan. If worn retro shabby chic is your thing this is the place for you.

Very charming and relaxing. The beach can be reached by foot (5min). The breakfast is outstanding! Easy parking.

We loved our stay. The hotel is old and quirky but comfortable. The host was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was delivered cloud and a must and the bar/breakfast area has been beautifully done up. Make sure you pop down for a drink.

(+) Hotel is value for money, clean and staff is friendly. (-) Check-in is later than usual hotels, at 5pm. Room was not ready when we reached around 4.30pm.

Great Staff!!! Vintage look to the hotel which I loved and the service was great! Owner knows Japanese, English, and French. She is a great cook so I suggest doing the breakfast with the room, it isn’t much more to the price. Friendly environment and I felt right at home!

The host is so sweet, and speaks English very well. I love the Western style room, I feel at home, it’s cozy. The bathroom is small but very cute. I like the decor, and the location is great to walk to the beach, it’s also near a lovely vegan café “niceness”.

Yes its old, but so am I! I'd say it has character! There's also a lounge, not mentioned on the booking sites. Really good location. It's located five minutes from the 21st Century Forest Park, kilometers of immaculate parkland and beaches... with a safe swimming area, netted and lifeguards present. Nearby, less than 100 mertes, there is a laundromat, a 24hr Family Mart, and to the right towards Nago, virtually next door... is the Coop supermarket. About ten minutes walk away I recommend the Kanehide supermarket, more choice. Google the local area, loads of Japanese restaurants and Cafes... also, within a twenty minute walk on Route 58 is McDonalds, Dominos KFc etc. plus a Hamizushi...further on is the Aeon shopping centre and a Don Quijote. Nago town centre is old but is full of bars, nightlife starts after 9... there are also weird Pachinko palaces nearby. Orion Brewery also does tours... shirts are cheaper in the Don Quijote and Nago market, more choice... Further afield I recommend Ocean Expo Park, again Google! The nearby village of Bise is beautiful. I also recommend driving to Cape Hedo via the eastern coast route.... a little hairy!

I stayed here for four nights and from the moment I walked into Shirahama Hotel I knew this place was special. This is the oldest continuous running hotel in Nago - about 50 years old. There is the traditional feel of yesteryear combined with modern amenities. There is a relaxing wine bar on the hotel premises that serves a nice choice of wines, beers and spirits. The proprietor is a lovely woman who is proudly carrying on the warm hospitality shown by previous generations. The location is great - close to the bus terminal, steps from the beach and close to many cafes, bars and restaurants. Everything in Nago City is within walking distance and all points north and south are easily accessible from the Nago Bus Terminal. An excellent value. I could not have been any happier with my stay - except for the fact it was too short.

The host was nice and help us check in and arrange the room. However, it was hard to find and the entrance was narrow and it was difficult to park. If this is your first time to Okinawa, you may want to switch to a more luxury hotel. But if you are frequent traveler and a back-packer, this is a fine place to stay with reasonable price.

A good, clean and tidy family room for a couple and their elderly mother. Decently lay out in a quiet environment. Good for a stopover.

Ganz nett und gut gelegen aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dafür noch gut

ホテルに宿泊する際Wi-Fiがあるかないかも重要なのですが、客室でWi-Fiが使えるとの前情報だったが実際には客室で使えなかった。 ギガが少ないプランでやり繰りしてるので旅先でいろいろな情報を得るうえで必要なことだったのに使えないのは本当に残念だった。
