Great stay on our pilgrimage. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff and close to restaurants, grocery and conbini.

Breakfast was so good

Not so nice.

Twin-bed room, one-night stay, 13/02/2024 - 14/02/2024. This hotel is super clean and comfortable, like most hotels in Japan. Service was excellent and unthinkable for European standards, compared to the room price (36,30 euro including taxes). Two unique aspects: 1. Smell: the corridor on the second floor had a wonderful, indescribable scent of clean like the one one you sometimes smell on clothes. It was so enjoyable! 2. Smile: As the hotel name suggests, staff members had a large smile which I liked a lot (although they looked a bit tensed during check-in). By mistake I had booked a smoking room, but the staff kindly changed it to a non-smoking room right away. I only had a small breakfast; nonetheless I liked much the variety of Japanese food available. Suggestions for improvement: Curtains were too thin and let light filter on day time, which disturbed sleep. It would be nice to have completely light-blocking curtains.

I’ve stayed in a couple of Smile Hotels in Tokushima and Hakata. However, the one in Matsuyama did not do as well as the above 2. 1. Location: About 10mins walk to Okaido if you walk thru the alley of bars & pubs, 15mins to avoid the above 2. The AC is only in heating and fan mode. Have to utilized the in-room humidifier to cool down the room or to open the window (but it’s noisy) These are the 2 points that took away the 2 stars. The rest, ie. facilities, amenities and staffs are good.

Mighty fine stay! Well situated, near all attractions and public transportation!

it’s a old business hotel but clean.. the bed is not itchy like other hotels so that i slept good till morning..only one thing is, the hotel parking lot it was mendoksai

各観光施設、道後温泉、ショッピングゾーンへのアクセスが良く、スタッフのみなさんもとても親身で非常に心地よい滞在でした

めちゃくちゃコスパいい！ 安さ、口コミ、立地だけで決めましたが、正解でした。正直何にも期待してなかったけど、受付の方は全員愛想良くて丁寧だし、アメニティもちゃんとある。朝ごはんは利益でてる？ってくらい安くておいしい。品数も朝だし十分。 倍の金額払ってここより全体的に劣ってるところいくらでもある。

スタッフの対応がスムーズでよかったです。

思っていたより、朝食良かったです。

エアコンがなぜか冷房が使えなかった。

とても快適で過ごしやすい ゆっくり休めました

歩いてすぐ近くにアーケード商店街があり、飲食店がたくさんあり、とても良かったです。　 車に忘れ物をしたが、女性の受付の方が嫌な顔をせずに対応をしてくれました。

客室の広さが余裕があり良かったです。ロビーでのコーヒーサービス、スタッフの対応が大変良かったです。

路面電車の停留所がすぐ側にあるので、松山駅や道後温泉などに行くのに便利でした。 横のコインパーキングも夜遅く止めたのが良かったのか、半日程止めても500円でした。

客室・室内ファシリは清潔だし綺麗（若干の消耗は感じられるものの）、スタッフの応対も丁寧、観光情報の発信もあり。

マラソンのために利用しました。 最高の立地でした
