The hotel was a very convenient walk from Ikebukuro Station and the staff was very friendly! The room was small but it was all the space I needed and the bathroom was fairly large and quite nice. I’d recommend staying here as a solo traveler in Tokyo!

The hotel location is excellent; the Ikebukuro train station is just a stone throw away, walking distance to shopping and restaurants area. Hotel staff are very friendly, always ready to help out guests. Will stay again next time come to Tokyo!

It’s so lucky for me to stay at The B Hotel for my birthday trip. Everything is managed well with cleanliness and tidiness. Very comfortable room for resting and it is always fun to see my dolls are lined up in order whenever there are cleaning of my bed. Thanks, the secret housekeeper~

The location was great, close to the train station, restaurants and shopping. They were very kind to hold our bags after check out until our flight time. Beds were clean and comfortable, the shower was very relaxing with interesting water features. There room had some scratched furniture and the lobby drinking water system was broken, these could be easily fixed and it could give a better impression to guests. A pizza restaurant was located on the second, even though it was expensive, it was very convenient after a long day of walking. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Via Expedia, it states that a fitness center is included with this property. If you filter “fitness center”, the B Ikebukuro will show. However, it’s like $20 USD, per visit to the fitness center. Not, per day, but per visit. This is extremely misleading and is why we booked this hotel. I will not spend $100+ to use a gym for a few days. Also, the carpets in the room hallways are dirty, and the place has an odor. Great location for transit and downtown Ikebukuro, but the hotel was not worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

The hotel was very conveniently located to get to the train. The staff was accommodating for holding one of my suitcases a couple days while I traveled to another part of Japan which was very helpful. Overall, I had a great stay here!
