Stayed here for the one night and it was a gem, literally a few steps from the train station. Clean and comfortable room and loved having a curtain for more privacy. The staff was very helpful and wonderful with their service, the facilities were very clean and the onsite onsen was the highlight of the night you can unwind and just relax. Theres restaurants walking distance with good options. Would definitely recommend staying at this hostel.

This is a super clean and modern Japanese hotel. Perfect location for Gora. Restaurant was not open Mondays in hotel but several restaurants available within minutes. Breakfast was unusual but plentiful and the service was just lovely by all staff. Left bags when we checked in early and they took them to our room when’s/

I overall had a good experience at WPU HOTEL HAKONE. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was included which was nice. The breakfast itself was a buffet style where you had to book a time slot. This wasn't too bad and if you needed to change the time between days, they would try to acommodate it. My only complaint is that for a modern stay, they should have more amenities such as a hair tools. I purposely did a short weekend trip and thought they would provide hair tools since there was also an onsen but they only had hair dryers. Unfortunately the one I got worked but the handle was broken. Small things but they should have a few irons at reception for guests to borrow. Otherwise, great stay.

The Hotel location is really convenient. It is next to Gora station where the Hakone ropeway is. Hakone Open Air Museum and Hakone Gora Park are walkable as well. The staff are great, helpful and courteous, I arrived an hour before check in so left my bags and by the time I got back hours later, I just needed to get my keys and my bags are already in my room. Breakfast is good and enough to start your day. I also tried their dinner and I would recommend to do it at least once in your stay. The amenities and facilities are great, they have a microwave and kettle available for use as well as utensils. I liked their onsen and laundry facilities. They also have a shared space for guests to use to eat and relax and mingle with other guests.

Excellent stay! I stayed here many times when the property was Emblem Flow before changing names. Nothing has really changed. Great staff - very friendly and welcoming. Nice restaurant and bar with a wonderful breakfast. Also appreciated the small onsen area. I highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable stay in Gora.

What a delightful hotel!! Awesome location literally next to the train station, great food in the area as well as at the hotel restaurant. The included breakfast was amazing. Onsen was really lovely too. Rooms were very minimalist but comfy and had a great view.

Everything at this hotel was wonderful. Location of the hotel was right beside Gora Station and bus station to you to Gotemba Premium Outlets. Staff were friendly, breakfast was delicious, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Highly recommend staying here if you are doing the Hakone Loop.
