You need a car to stay at Yufuin Zen as it is away from town, but everything else is superb. The staff service is great, helping with our bags when we arrived. The room is spacious with our own private onsen. 'Curfew' is from 10 p.m. till 7 a.m.. If you plan to go out at night, please be back before 10 p.m.. It is for security and safety reasons. There won't be any staff after 10 p.m., but if there is an emergency, you can make a call from the lobby and they will answer.
