Kudat Riviera

Great place to stay! Very comfortable villa and very friendly staff. Information provided through the Expedia booking was limited so would suggest to book directly through the resort website. For example, we were not aware prior to arrival that we could have diner at the villa

The villa is beautiful with a wonderful garden, it was a real pleasure to spend our vacation there. Delicious breakfasts and very nice service, every request was fulfilled. In addition, a wonderful breakfast for the road. Thank you and we will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay! The villa was bigger than expected, with a wonderfully relaxing private pool and comfortable bedrooms. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. I loved waking up to the delicious breakfasts they made us every morning. So much more relaxing than eating in the crowded hotels of Kota Kinabalu! The beach was only a few minutes walk from our villa, and absolutely gorgeous, a pristine expanse of sand and warm water. This was another highlight of our time here. It was great fun to walk along the beach at sunset and enjoy the magnificent view. The villa itself was beautiful and well maintained for the most part. One minor complaint is that water leaked a bit from one of the bathroom sinks, and the living room side door was a bit sticky & hard to open. It was also very hot in the bathroom, which is open to the outside air (due to its construction) and doesn't have an air conditioner. However, I want to emphasize these are relatively minor points which didn't detract much from our enjoyment of the place. Overall I'd greatly recommend staying at Kudat Riviera. It's worth the price! Great place to just relax and feel like you're living in the lap of luxury for a few days. We stayed at many hotels during our 3 week vacation and this was one of my personal favorites. Will definitely consider staying here again on a future trip.
