Highly recommended for all passengers who have a transit flight in Kuala Lumpur to another country. Easy access from KLIA T1 and T2 airport. A buggy golf car is always available near T1 alongside the food court. Nice staff, room, and environment.

Great buggy service to terminal 1. I used Sama Sama as my home base for a 2 day KL stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I have an allergy and everyone was very attentive to ensure safe meals. The train to town is convenient.

This is a gem of an airport hotel . It’s an easy walk from level 2 of the airport across through to carpark but turn left . Or there’s a buggy going back and forward if you don’t think you need to stretch your legs . The rooms are large with nice bathrooms , there is a landscaped pool and a friendly lobby bar/restaurant. A gym if you have your stuff I think ! I have stayed here twice when I’ve had long layovers at KL between flights and I am sure I will do it again. You can buy 6 hour stays on site but I was at the desk at 9am and wanting until midnight. He gave me a price - price here was cheaper for a night than two 6 hour periods. I told him this, he told me to make my booking here and come back to him at 10 and there’d be a room. I was very grateful . I was checking out at 10 pm though.

Overall a great hotel except for the communication between front desk staff regarding laundry return times which nearly caused a delay in leaving the hotel and my flight. It wasn't an English issue, it was a disposition to always say 'yes' to the client just to not lose face which needs to be addressed urgently. If things cannot be obtained at a certain time, management needs to train staff to say 'no, sorry, it cannot be done in that timeframe'. Simple, would solve many issues. In terms of facilities, two of the three gym machines were not working, which can happen, I get it. No signs or heads up was given so I had to figure it put for myself. Would have been nice for staff to just mention faulty machines as a courtesy, rather than leave the client to discover it for themselves and leave a medium review online like this. In other areas, food, transport links, room cleanliness all A* quality. Western buffet and dishes together with East Asian and Malaysian cuisin also on offer, varied and sumptuous. There was even a small gallery art exhibit in the lobby showcasing local Malaysian upcoming and established artists which was great.

This is a beautiful hotel with large comfortable room, hot water in the shower, clean, and a master light control at the front door. I was upgraded to the top floor which had its own happy hour with fancy food snacks and wine and beer. The attendant there is always on duty and can check you out. A great experience!

Excellent stay overnight between flights - hotel is 5 minutes walk or a quick electric buggy ride from terminal 1, room was a good size and clean, very quiet (no noise from outside or corridor that I heard) and efficient Aircon. Great airport hotel. We arrived late from our flight from Sydney and Stayed at sama sama. it was the best decision. Conveniently located at the airport (but you don’t hear the planes!). Breakfast was extravagant. Service staff were very friendly and wonderful. Amenities are excellent too.

The Sama Sama Hotel has two Airport hotels - the one within the International airport is the smaller Sama Sama Express. The main Sama Sama Hotel is just out of the airport building but guests are taken both ways in a golf buggy in under cover walkways and it takes about 2 to 3 minutes max. This is the hotel I am commenting on. The Hotel is very luxurious in every respect unlike most airports we have stayed in around the world . The guest rooms are large and have every convenience plus very comfortable beds - the restaurants and bars are first class - the outdoor pool and garden are resort style . I always stay at Sama Sama on the way to UK and Europe as Malaysian Airlines have great departure times from Australia to KL then non stop KL to Heathrow flights . I stick by my comment it is “ The best Airport Hotel in the World “ .
