Dusit Thani Maldives

High ceiling room with old world charm, waking up to the sound of wave, walk into ocean from the villa, attentive staffs, well maintained sites and the food was amazing across all restaurants, only if the weather could be a bit better, this wouldn’t been the trip of lifetime, will definitely come back in a non- raining season. And thank you Dusit Thani, this is indeed “ the land of heaven”!

Maldives meets White Lotus. Dusit Thani was a dream destination. The lush vegetation and beautifully kept grounds were paradise. Although there were a ton of things to do (restaurants and activities), we chose to do absolutely nothing but relax and soak in the beauty of the island. The staff and service are 5 star. The food was so fresh and delicious. I would definitely return for a longer stay.

This review is written for fellow professional and frequent travelers who know what true five-star service looks and feels like. We recently stayed at Dusit Thani Maldives and had an exceptional experience that truly stands out, even among other five-star island resorts. We booked the Over Water Villa with Pool, which we highly recommend for its generous layout, serene privacy, and direct access to the house reef. From the moment we arrived, we were in excellent hands with our butler, Mona (Gulnoza). She was incredibly responsive, reliable, and proactive—anticipating needs before we voiced them and ensuring every detail of our stay was seamless. Dining was a highlight. The Sea Grill restaurant impressed us with both its culinary finesse and hospitality. A special mention to the grill chef whose skills elevated every dish, and to Slyp (Mohamed) for his exceptional service—warm, attentive, and consistently professional. We also had the pleasure of dining at Benjarong, Dusit Thani’s signature Thai restaurant, led by Rungnapa. Her deep knowledge of food and beverage, coupled with an evident passion for genuine hospitality, made each visit memorable. She’s a standout professional in every sense. Lastly, breakfast at The Market was a daily delight. While the variety and freshness of offerings were excellent, what made it even better was the gracious service from Shahina and Ahmed—always welcoming, efficient, and personable.

The trip was so smooth and stress free with all the preparations organised by the hotel ( airport transfer, the lounge( five star) . The island was very relaxing, the villa was amazing my daughter had the best time. I love it all small details in everything , I request some treats in the room as it was my daughter surprise holiday after finish uni, they went above and beyond. The housekeeping team was so genius with the setting. The ladies in the spa…. OMG!!!! They have fairy hands, after one hour massage, I fell in heaven. The pool staff was so welcoming and friendly, but the cherry on top of the cake was my amazing butler Saeed very attentive and helpful. I feel it really special was such an amazing experience overall, I truly recommend it!! I already did to my family and friends. And if opportunity comes in future I would come back for sure. To all the staff thank you soo much, more blessings to all.

Very unique experience. Snorkeling was excellent, even saw a whale shark while snorkeling. Scuba was luxury service and great marine life. Staff was great. Room was fantastic. Would recommend this property very highly.

雨季のため天候も心配でしたが、初日以外完璧な天気。部屋からそのままシュノーケリングができる最高の環境でした。食事もインクルーシブで存分に楽しめ、初めはベンジャロンで待たされることも多く気になることがありましたが、日を追うごとにサービスが洗練されていきました。最高の夏休みの思い出ができました。

Amazing and wonderful place, we'd been in more than 50 countries worldwide, but never received such warm and service quality. Staff is over the top; you can immediately notice that they genuinely care about you and your wellbeing. We were 12 people (3 families) and initially booked for 5 days, in day 2, the consensus was to extend for 6 more days! There are tons of activities, the villas are super clean, well decorated and contain everything you might need, food is fantastic (variety and quality). Thank you very much dears Adam, Samih, Faisal and Mona. 😍 Being there is like living a dream in a paradise, but certainly, there is one awful thing?: Eventually, you will have to come back to reality. Give it a try: You will not regret!

Very friendly and pleasant staff. Bicycles as main transportation around the island made it more fun. Lots of water activities. Variable food options and restaurants

Very relaxing

We're very picky travellers and we say; everything about this place is breathtaking, we don't know what to start with... Adam, our butler, went out of his way, over and beyond any expectations, we felt he was family to us by the end of the trip... Monty, Khaled and whole dive center team were more than excellent, they guided and taught us everything we need to know about diving, took us to fantastic places and saw a million and one species Also, Watt, the resort general manager was spectacular and gave us a show of our lives diving with turtles.. Thomas, the resort manager was very hospitable and made sure our needs were all attended to.. Restaurant/Bar teams were amazing, beyond expectations, food was 5 star quality, drinks were exquisite and very well made... do not pass on the inclusive package, it was well worth every penny spent... a shout out to all the names I remember (very sorry, but there's many more that I cannot recall); Obbs, Safwan, Bob, Rabeeu, Mohamed, Saeed and many many more that put much more than a smile on our faces every day) The chief engineer gaveus a tour of their facilities (generators, staff living areas, recycling facilities, water stations and more), they absolutely impressed us with their eco-friendliness (they make their own drinking still & sparkling water on site, which is mind blowing) I'm out of words, but I can go on for ages about this place; "do not miss out on this bucket list treasure!" WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

Dusit Thani Maldives is a spectacular resort. We stayed in a over the water bungalow that was clean, modern, comfortable and beautiful. Naan our butler was absolutely awesome and took great care of every need all the way down the PCR covid test when we were leaving to sea plane scheduling. Aside from the buffet which wasn't very good, room service, the thai restaurant and sand bar were all amazing and had reasonably priced food and drinks. Definitely one of the best bucket list locations. Can't wait to go back.

Dusit Thani is sooo amazing! Everything was honestly perfect. From our welcome to our departure, we felt pampered. Our care taker Adam was just perfect, he wasn't hovering over us but he made sure to check in with us to make sure we were okay and when we wanted to do any activity, he was quick to set it up with no hesitation. The food was great, all the staff and chefs were super nice and welcoming and MOST especially we LOVED the Spa! The masseuses had magical hands. Our Villa was beautiful, spacious and perfect. All in all, Dusit Thani is a 10/10.

Dusit Thani Maldives is indeed a paradise itself! The whole resort with its top-notch staff made our stay more special and memorable! They have fresh sea food from all the restaurants and they also help protect the environment with its sustainable resources, like its “The Nam “ water). The Ocean Dive Center within the resort have a variety of activities, and our favorite is snorkeling. Special mention to Naan, our butler. He is very friendly and excellent customer service. He is the best!

The Dusit Thani Maldives was incredible. The surroundings, the staff, the things to do, and the entire vibe of the island make it one of our favourite places to have visited. If you stay on island there are many options and going off island gets you more reefs and beautiful views. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Dusit Thani.

Exquisite, full service 5 star experience. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere and staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury vacation. Overall it surpassed our expectations.
