Palais Le Brun

The hotel was perfect for our 4 night visit. The room quality was excellent, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the breakfast was first class. If we return to Malta this hotel will be our first choice.

Very helpful staff especially Ana May who always greeted us with a smile and gave recommendations when asked.

This hotel and all it's staff is wonderful. We had a spacious room with a very comfortable bed . The staff are so gracious. We were welcomed warmly by everyone from reception, breakfast and housekeeping. We even had a lovely recognition of our anniversary. Our only minor issue was though the room itself was good it was dark with only a small window. But we weren't in the room too much, mostly for sleeping. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere.

This is a lovely small hotel. It is quiet and clean and in a great location. The staff were fantastic throughout and the room was great and breakfast outstanding with all the staff so welcoming and pleasant. The only minor gripe is with the description in Expedia's page stating that there is a bar. Whilst there is a bar by the pool on the roof, this is only open during the summer and there is no mention of this on Expedia and it should mention this. However, this was not the end of the world and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a really quiet stay only a short walk to some more lively parts of Valletta.

Quaint hotel nestled a stone throw from Straight Street more commonly known as The Gut, where great bars and restaurants are located. The hotel staff are excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeeping team and serving staff were fantastic. The breakfast was really good with a wide choice between cooked through to continental. There is also a roof terrace with a small pool for catching dome sun or getting some quiet time. The hotel is located close to most appealing places in Valetta.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice. Bed was comfortable. Shower not so great, It went cold and hot. Staff was lovely.

Close to St Elmo Fort & The War Museum. Easy to walk to the centre of Valletta. The staff were lovely & very accommodating when I had to make several changes because of the Iran war & Lufthansa strikes.

Lovely big stylish room. 51 right by terrace. Tiny interval courtyard window but excellent lighting. Lots of wardrobe space, queen sized comfy bed, marble bathroom, plenty of towels, coffee machine plus kettle for tea. Supplied topped up daily. Good hairdryer and safe. Nice art on walls. Spent quite a lot of time on the terrace, wish bar was open, as a lot of guests up there between 4 and 7pm. Apparently it opens 1st May. Excellent choices for breakfast- 3 interconnected basement rooms, lovely staff, most days I had a full English cooked to order, then fruit, yogurt and gluten free options always available: bread, croissants and brownies. Salad and cheeses plus very processed meat products available. Different fruit juice everyday. Lots of teas including decaffeinated tea. I did have a refreshing dip in the pool on the roof, it's alright once you get in. The building is beautiful- it was a pleasure to stay in a 17th century palace, so central for all Valletta has to offer. The real strength of the Palais is the incredible staff. Many thanks to Leyla, the Queen of reception who makes everyone feel so welcome. Also Ana May and Leizel. Thank you for your excellent service at breakfast to lovely Marvy, Badel and Kyro, and all the team. The hotel is sparkling clean throughout and obviously very well run. The only improvement would be to be able to get food at the hotel.

Great location , clean modern, excellent roof terrace. Room was quite small considering was a superior. Breakfast is very good. But breakfast room crowded

Very close to lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Hotel is beautiful and has a lovely pool terrace area. Great breakfast included. Room was very clean with mini bar, hair dryer, shampoo, TV, bathrobes, slippers, etc. Staff wonderful, would definitely staff again!

Very helpful and thoughtful staff. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast service excellent as guests are spread in several smaller rooms but never felt forgotten about!

Breakfast was excellent. It was a great deal included with the stay which included a good selection of cold continental buffet. You were also able to select one hot breakfast from their menu too. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean however noticed some parts were aging (rust in bathroom) and sometimes dusty in the room. No fault of the hotel but after using the taps or toilet there would be a lingering “sewer” smell. Overall I would still recommend as the hotel is also within walking distance to the many key tourist attractions/sites/restaurants within Valletta.

Exceptionally clean room, spacious bathroom, EASY to operate shower. Firm matress. Quaint and elegant. Breakfast buffett very nice, great choice of complimentary hot dishes. Staff was super-attentive, friendly, and polite.

Very enjoyable overall. The one negative item worth mentioning would be the the warmth in one of our rooms. Their AC was not on for the season, as expected. But the room held it's overly warm temperature even with the balcony doors cracked. Not feeling comfortable sleeping with the doors open it made it difficult to sleep.
